Une balade à vélo ou une randonnée facile vers les nombreuses plages et étangs de Wellfleet, notre maison construite en 2014, a un plan d'étage ouvert, une immense grande pièce avec un plafond en flèche, un foyer au gaz et un ventilateur de plafond, une cuisine ouverte avec toutes les commodités, un bar à petit-déjeuner, des sièges dans la salle à manger 8, moustiquaire sous véranda, terrasse avec barbecue à gaz Weber, deux chambres principales avec lits queen et très grande troisième chambre avec lits jumeaux et lits gigognes (chambre pour un berceau); grande chambre en mezzanine a un futon double et une grande télévision: 2. 5 salles de bains et douche extérieure. La maison est climatisée et joliment aménagée, avec de la place pour jouer dans la grande cour latérale. Idéal pour les groupes familiaux ou deux familles avec enfants à partager. Il y a deux kayaks, beaucoup de chaises de plage, deux vélos et des trucs pour bébé (lit bébé, chaise haute et siège auto.) Un mile à l'océan, à la baie et en ville. Bons chiens bienvenus

Wonderfully Cozy Fall Retreat

We returned to this wonderful home after our summer vacation and very much enjoyed it in the fall season. The gas burning fireplace in the living room was wonderful for a cozy evening! Love this home and thank Peter and Leslie again for being gracious and welcoming hosts

A wonderful place

Well-appointed, bright, spacious, private, tastefully-decorated home located with easy access to all the wonderful local things - beaches, ponds, PTown, farmers markets, hiking, walking, birding, cafes, bookshop, etc. Our Chihuahua gets excited every year for this vacation, making a beeline to his favorite sunbeam spot in the living room.

Wonderful home to rent!

We had a wonderful time at Rose Hill. The house comfortably fit our family and golden retriever. The house is well provisioned and we loved the screened in porch at the rear. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood which allowed for privacy. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for the quintessential Wellfleet experience.

Great vacation home

This clean and spacious home has everything you need, a perfect homebase, to do all the Cape things. Going to the beach, swimming, kayaking, riding bikes, cooking in, grilling, chilling, watching movies, etc. It is close to Wellfleet center and just a short drive to Town. The owners are great - friendly and responsive.

Great 3 day getaway

The house was bright and airy. We had no issues at all and the host was very quick to respond and available. The deck was divided into an outdoor open area and a screened in area which was really nice. Would highly recommend.

From the start I knew this was going to be great - Peter and Leslie are very responsive and nice people. The house is well maintained , just as billed. Great location, quiet , lots of options for sitting both outside and inside. A pleasure for sure.

Great stay in Wellfleet!

My friends and I stayed at this house during our annual Oyster Fest weekend. We had some challenges with arrival due to a storm hitting the area and I really appreciated how Peter communicated with me so often with updates. The house itself is beautiful and perfect for a big group. It has everything you could need and is a great location - close to downtown, beaches and lots of beautiful nature. I would definitely recommend!

Beautiful house in a convenient location

The house is comfortably set up and beautifully decorated. It is close to everything Wellfleet on a quiet side street. There is sleeping room for 10, but the house is really ideal for 8 (8 dining room chairs, 8 sets of silverware). We had a power outage the morning of our departure, and hosts were very accommodating with laundry and clean-up. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Lovely home and town

Everyone enjoyed this well equipped home with a private backyard, flower landscaping, deck, and screened in porch. We had fun exploring Wellfleet and the swimming ponds, and long dog walks on the close by beaches. The owner Peter was very responsive to any issues we had and took care of things quickly (for example, a hornets nest we found under the deck was removed within a couple hours of discovering it)! Great place to spend some vacation days or weeks. Hope to return!

Beautiful property on dead end street

We had a lovely stay. The gardens surrounding this house are beautiful. The house was clean and the kitchen had everything we needed. The host was responsive when we had questions and the beach chairs and boogy boards provided were perfect for our days on the beach. The bike path is a short drive away as is Wellfleet Center. The dead end street was a good place for kids to play. Great house!

Beautiful property on the most beautiful town on Cape Cod

This was the first time staying at Rose Hill. My sister stayed last year and recommended it highly. I will do the same! Fantastic Wellfleet Gem

Rose Hill Cottage exceeded all expectations. The owners were extremely hospitable and responsive. The property, grounds, and privacy were better than pictured. House is spacious with wonderful natural light, and very well equipped. Good location short driving distance to everything in Wellfleet. It was the perfect place to reconnect with family & friends after a 2 year hiatus. We definitely want to return!

Hi, We are Peter and Leslie .We live in Washington DC but have always dreamed of having a family home on Cape Cod where everyone can gather from 1 to 101. We love exploring the outer Cape, swimming in the secret ponds, biking the paths in Provincetown and enjoying all that Wellfleet has to offer. We have two dogs who love walking on the beach and playing in the ocean. And yes, our house is dog friendly.

Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement

Peter grew up in Connecticut so he is a New Englander. Leslie was born in Massachusetts but left when she was a child. Discovering the Cape felt like coming home. We knew if we ever bought a vacation home, it would be in Wellfleet. We are learning to be Welfleetians and love its history and small town feel. We found our house in the middle of a snow storm. It was only half built but we both knew it was right.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

We love the quiet street, and the view from the porch into deep woods of the Herring River Estuary. We see all kinds of wild life in the early evening, once even a coywolf. The great room makes the house special, large enough for everyone to gather and to eat , the porch is where we gather in the early evening and in cooler weather, the gas fireplace warms the whole house. We also like having one master on the ground level. Lets us have lots of guests and still have our private space.
