Bienvenue dans notre maison de plage confortable; une magnifique maison de vacances pour une petite famille. Dormir comprend: 2 lits queen, un lit de repos jumeau avec tiroir gigogne. Nous accueillons les jeunes invités avec quelques DVD, des jeux de société, des livres et des puzzles adaptés aux familles.
À travers le couloir entre les chambres, vous trouverez une cuisine ouverte / salle à manger / espace familial. Le grand canapé, la table à manger, le comptoir / le bar et les tabourets constitueront un endroit agréable pour créer des liens familiaux / amusants.
Notre nouvelle cuisine est équipée de: réfrigérateur, lave-vaisselle, micro-ondes, four grille-pain et cafetière. Tous les pots, casseroles, vaisselle et ustensiles nécessaires sont également fournis. Apportez juste votre épicerie et votre appétit!
House a également une nouvelle terrasse avec beaucoup de chaises, des meubles de jardin et des chaises longues pour bronzer. L'espace ouvert au rez-de-chaussée comprend 2 hamacs où vous pourrez profiter de la brise fraîche pendant les heures ensoleillées de l'après-midi.
Il y a une abondance d'activités que votre famille peut apprécier pendant ses vacances ici. Vous pouvez faire de belles promenades le long d'une plage propre et tranquille, regarder les enfants jouer au soleil, puis enfin profiter de votre dîner en regardant un magnifique coucher de soleil depuis la magnifique terrasse.
La maison est à 5 minutes à pied de la plage. Vous pouvez faire des plans pour échouer, pêcher, crabing ou tout ce que vos coeurs désirent, puis rentrez à la maison et détendez-vous dans notre confortable maison de plage.
Pour ceux qui veulent faire plus que simplement faire la plage, la maison est à une courte distance en voiture de la salle de cinéma, du golf miniature, du Moody Garden, du Schlitterbahn et de la pêche à la jetée. Il ya aussi de nombreux restaurants locaux populaires à l’est de l’île qui servent des variétés de délicieuses Tex-mex, fruits de mer, asiatiques, fast-food, des cuisines de camion de nourriture ... et plus encore. Plus à l'est, vous pouvez faire un tour en ferry avec les enfants. Pour éviter le temps d'attente, les clients peuvent se garer dans le stationnement gratuit et marcher pour le ferry. Les enfants peuvent aimer nourrir les oiseaux avec des morceaux de pain et chercher des dauphins locaux en pleine eau.

It's even better in person

It's the perfect distance from the beach, the deck is so spacious and the underneath amenities are awesome! We really enjoyed the outdoor shower after coming in from the beach. Over all our little birthday weekend was perfect for the three of us. Not to mention the owners are very sweet and accommodating we will be back every year for sure!

The house is compact, but it has everything you need to enjoy a vacation near the beach. Inside it has been renovated and the deck and downstairs area seems all new, making it very pleasant! The deck has gates front and back makings it perfect to contain toddlers. The beach is a short walk away. We really enjoyed the beach, sand is very clean, so our kids really enjoyed it. Dealing with Jenny was very easy, always responsive and accommodating. We would definitely come back!

So perfect

The house was perfect for my family! It was exceptionally clean and organized. I loved the labeled cabinets and light switches, having a washer and dryer was priceless as well. The towels were fluffy, the beds were comfy and the kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need to cook. The beach toys were perfect, being able to rinse off downstairs to keep the home clean was a huge help. The walk to the beach was just a couple of minutes and it is uncrowded and lovely.

Sister Trip

We had a wonderful stay! The beach is about a block and a half Away which was a super short and easy walk for two “elderly” sisters. The beach is great with no cars driving on it in this area. The house was perfect with everything you could need. Comfy beds that would sleep 6 adults and then an additional double futon and sleeper sofa which would sleep 4 more. Everything was super clean and well appointed. There was even a blender and crockpot! Great internet and Roku tv. The perfect place for relaxing at the beach!

Comfortable house, large deck, easy walk to the beach

We really enjoyed our stay. Looking for a house that could accommodate 4 adults and 2 small kids. This house was just right. The house was very clean and had most everything you needed for a comfortable stay. The walk to the beach was less than 5 minutes and the beach was not crowded and beach was kept clean. We brought a wagon to haul our umbrellas, cooler, and beach toys. Deck was furnished very well with table and chairs and two more sitting areas. Kitchen was stocked very well but could have used more silverware. The beds were very comfortable and air conditioner worked very well on those hot afternoons. Home owners were very easy to work with and wanted to make sure we had an enjoyable stay.

Great Beach Stay!

We were very happy with the home. No fuss, no frills. Owners were great to work with, had no issues while there so didn't need to contact them. Jenny was kind enough to let us know about an increase in mosquitoes in the area so we could come prepared. We were able to walk to the beach, it was only about 2 blocks! We loved being away from the crowds in and around Galveston. We were about 8 miles to the west of the main strip. Quiet neighborhood, with small grocery and seafood market very close. Would definitely stay again! My 1 minor issue was the bed quality and I don't think the amenities list washer dryer, but they were available on site, super nice when traveling with kiddos. So happy we got to have this family time at a wonderful beach house. BTW Galveston has great, clean beaches. Can't wait to visit again some day.

House very accurately advertised, good time had by all

Really great place for a family with young kids. We've got a newborn, a 1 yr old, and a 3 yr old. My wife and I stayed for 3 days, 2 nights. For our needs, it was near perfect. The floor plan was extremely functional for our needs. The television and DVD options were a nice bonus once the kids were asleep. The distance to the beach was close, I'd estimate 1/8 mile. The beach was private , we'd see only maybe 3-4 other people each time we went. Grocery store was convenient, but expensive. I'd suggest hitting the Wal-mart on the seawall on the drive in to avoid the near by grocers prices and selection. Washer/Dryer made the trip so much easier. Wrap around deck was the surprise highlight of our visit. Only suggested improvement would be to stock the kitchen with salt&pepper/spices/condiments/etc. For now, bring your own. Overall, the house was exactly as advertised and we enjoyed our trip immensely.

Poor

The beach house was good. Only downside to this stay was that the owner called me at 2 in the morning screaming at me stating that I had loud noise and that neighbors were complaining. She wouldn’t let me talk due to her being upset and screaming. Our neighbors noise didn’t bother us at all. What ruined our stay was her calling all mad for something that had to do with me and my family. She didn’t hear or see herself who was the one making the noise. She called me all because someone informed her about the noises which she was given the wrong information. Good experience with the house but really bad experience with her. Will not recommend this house to no one.

Great Place to stay

I gave this 5 Stars, not because it is Five Star accommodations, but because it absolutely met my expectations. What it is: Very Well Managed - Jenny is EXTREMELY responsive, from booking all the way through the stay. We had a problem with the AC coming on, and she dealt with it immediately on a Saturday evening. It was not a problem with the AC, but electrical connection. Jenny was on top of it and was ready to have someone come out and address it right away. This wasn't needed, but her willingness to address it immediately proves she does a better job than most management companies. Clean! I never saw one bug inside. This is big to me. Well-Stocked: you could tell this was someone's 2nd home and not simply a rental property with minimal accommodations. All Appliances were new and working, nothing broken, missing, etc. Washer and Dryer worked, oven/Micro toaster, hot water/AC Everything was in good working order. The outside deck was huge and seemed new. The outdoor areas makes the home seem much larger than it is. Recent Upgrades. Home is clean and in good repair. From top to bottom, inside and out, you do not see signs of neglect and deferred maintainence. You see well-kept and manicured, and this is very challenging with the salty air in Galveston. Wifi works well, TVs are good and set up with Netflix and all the latest apps i use at home. What it isn't: Extravagant. This is a basic home and the price reflects this. It is an older home that has been redone. It is CLEAN and remodeled, but it is not BRAND NEW. It is not beachfront, but it is a very short walk. It is a small, two bedroom home with two living areas and one bathroom. There is also a bathroom out doors which is nice if you are coming and going to the beach. We didnt because it was cold. The biggest complaint that I have is that there are no closets available in the house. This would make a lengthy stay a little challenging, but not impossible. For 3-4 days, you can manage. There is a dresser available to store some stuff in that is used as a TV stand in one of the living rooms. And hooks in the bedrooms to hang stuff on. The bedrooms are small too, but the living spaces are big and open so I did not feel cramped. It sleeps 6 people, and we did this without using the fold out. There is a day/trundle bed which was great for kids. THIS GETS FIVE STARS for the value and experience. It is well priced and very well managed. I would stay here again

Cute house, great location!

This house was perfect for 2 adults and 2 teens. It is so cute and right next to a beach that feels like a private beach since it is off the beaten path. I would 100% rent this one again!

My husband and I have been married 21+ loving years. We have 2 beautiful teenage daughters. We have been residents of Houston over 40 years. We love road trips & visiting scenic destinations. My husband's most favorite leisure activity is fishing. Wherever we travel, his foremost inquiry is if fishing is available.

It has been my husband's dream to fish everyday when he retires. We purchased this house in 2010 after the historic Hurricane Ike. We recently renovated the house with an additional 200 sq ft and expanded the deck. The process took longer than expected, but after all the works completed, we totally LOVE it. My husband can now live his dream even before retiring, which is a wonderful blessing. My most favorite activity is walking along the beautiful clean beach looking out into the open sea. The sunset/sunrise view on the beach is absolutely breathtaking.

Our home is in located on the quiet west end of Galveston Island. Guests will be able to enjoy a quiet & relaxing time during their stay at our place. There is no passing through traffic inside the subdivision. Our young guests can safely walk to a semi-private beach within a few minutes.
We also have many nice and friendly neighbors in the subdivision. .
We recently renovated the house converting it from an efficiency into a 2 bedroom house. Although the bedrooms are small, we try to make the space as comfortable as possible for our guests. The newly remodeled home feature a spacious wrap-around deck, which provides even more open area for outdoor activities for all. There is an outdoor shower downstairs which is great during hot summer days.
We wish to welcome guests into our "home away from home". All necessary kitchenware and dinnerware are available for preparing delicious home-cooked meals. Other amenities include Wi-Fi, Roku TV, Netflix, Disney Plus, and local channels, DVDs, games, books and puzzles.
Lastly, we sincerely hope our guests will find the Sand Trout as cozy and comfortable as possible. We certainly have enjoyed all our stay there in Galveston through the years.
