Welcome to this cozy, family friendly vacation home located in the adorable coastal town of Port Isabel, TX! Just a 5 minute stroll to the heart of Port Isabel’s Lighthouse Town Square and a 7 minute drive to the beach in South Padre Island. This home offers plenty of space for the whole family, including the family dog! You can even experience SpaceX Rocket launches from the backyard or take a short walk to the Pirate’s Landing Pier for some family friendly fun, food and shopping! If the beach is calling, just hop in the car and drive over the causeway bridge to the first beach access point in South Padre Island and enjoy some fun in the sun!

Great place within walking distance of basically everything, and the host was quick to respond to any questions. The backyard is spacious with a great breeze from the beach, it was extremely relaxing.

This was a super cozy house, in a super quiet neighborhood! It was just as listed... just a few blocks and you were on your way to SPI. This home was ideal for us as we are a retired couple with a young German Shepherd dog! We really needed to have room for her to run and play ball!! The back yard was ideal for that! Totally fenced in with nice patio furniture to spend the evenings. The pictures that you see are exactly how things look! The amenities were EXCEPTIONAL!! They thought of everything!!! Washer-Dryer, laundry detergent, hair dryer, pots-pans, box fans, shampoo-conditioner, bodywash, just everything!!!! It was super-duper clean as well!! We tried to leave it the way we found it... but it was really clean to begin with!! I can't say enough about this home!! We will definitely stay here again. Not just on South Padre Island... but at this cozy little home!!! It truly was our home away from home! The Host was incredible! She answered all of our questions within just a few moments. She was super duper upbeat and friendly...this made us feel super secure! She gave us detailed instructions that were easy to follow and spot on! This was so incredibly helpful. You just have no idea! We didn't want a cookie cutter home to stay in with close neighbors. We wanted some place that felt more private and secure. That is exactly this home!If you want a quiet, nice, clean stay this place is for you!!

Perfect stay for a family bringing a pet

We had a wonderful stay at this property! The house was spotless and fully stocked with everything we needed to feel right at home. The spacious backyard was perfect for our dog to run and play, and we loved spending relaxing time on the patio grilling and enjoying the sunshine.The location is fantastic, situated in a safe, quiet neighborhood just a few blocks from Pirate's Landing Fishing Pier, great local restaurants, and the Port Isabel Lighthouse. Plus, it’s only about a 15–20 minute drive to South Padre Island, making it super convenient for beach trips.Our host, Hillary, was responsive and promptly addressed any questions we had. Our family felt very comfortable here, and we truly enjoyed our time. Highly recommended!

Nice place with a great yard close to the Gulf

We came down for our Aunt’s celebration of life. It was nice to have a quiet place to stay while there. My dad is a smoker so it was a bonus that he was allowed to smoke on the back porch. The added bonus of a fenced backyard was so nice for my cousin’s dog. The house was clean and well maintained. We’d stay here again.

Amazing!

We loved our stay! Hillary was very helpful through the whole process. The house was close to everything which made it very convenient. The only issue was the grass, but it wasn't a big issue for us. We still enjoyed the big backyard and the kiddos did as well. Besides that the inside was amazing, a very beautiful home, very cozy. We loved it, the kids loved it because there was a variety of games for all ages. Our stay was amazing and will plan to stay there again in the future.

Snowbirds heading south

This is an older home that had some remodeling done. It worked out very well for the 4 of us. Especially having 2 bathrooms. With the fenced in back yard it made it easy to relax. 20 minutes from just about any direction’s you’ll find something to do, eat, or drink. If you’re a sports fan I recommend a must see Double Day Bar My thoughts are that this place gets 4.5 outa of 5. And would come back if in the area. A special thanks too Hillary. KnSnCnD

Nice little house with big backyard

House was perfect for our trip. Was close to all the amenities and easy to get to. The driveway was only able to fit 2 pickup trucks and the other vehicles had to park on the street. Overall was a great house and would stay there again. Hillary was a great host and very responsive to any questions!

Hello fellow travelers! We are Hillary, James and Holland! Welcome to our vacation home! Our little family currently lives in McAllen, TX
about an hour and a half Northwest of Port Isabel. We love taking weekend trips to South Padre Island for some family fun at the beach and absolutely adore Port Isabel on our way there. The town square with the Lighthouse, shops, restaurants and Pirate’s Landing Pier is one of our favorite places to visit. That’s why we decided to make it our permanent vacation home location.

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

Port Isabel is an adorable, walkable little town! Our personal favorite, the Hopper Haus Bar and Grill, is such a welcoming little pub! It’s just a short walk from the house! The best part, it’s family friendly and has a beer garden with live music! Once we’ve enjoyed a bite to eat and some delicious drinks, we walk over to the Lighthouse square for some dessert and coffee, browse the cute little boutiques and hang out at the Pirate’s Landing Pier! The locals are lovely and everyone is so nice. We enjoy every moment when we visit!

Location! Location! LOCATION! This home is walking distance to pretty much anything you want or need! The neighborhood is quiet and it’s a short drive to beach access! Also, the large backyard provides plenty of space for our dogs and our toddler to roam safely.
