The location was excellent. The actual condo was acceptable, although it required a little cleaning on my part when we arrived. The floor was sticky, as was a portion of the kitchen island. However, the real kicker was this: We followed the parking instructions provided by the host. The second morning of our stay, our car was missing from the parking garage; it had been towed. We notified our host immediately via the text number she used to send those instructions. We went to the office and were informed that visitors were only allowed to park on levels 4 and above, which would require us to enter the garage, proceed FORWARD, and ascend to at least the 4th level. From there, we were not to park in any space that was painted black. According to host instructions, we were to enter the garage and TURN IMMEDIATELY RIGHT, and not to park in any space marked with black paint, which is exactly what we did. We requested reimbursment for the cost of the tow/storage 304.90 19.91 Uber 10.00 Uber tip 334.82. The host has ignored my text and call. I contacted VRBO about the issue. They contacted the host but then told me I needed to deal directly with her. I texted the host again, and still no response If we had been appropriately instructed, we would have gladly gone to the upper levels, as we did once we retrieved our car. I would NEVER deal with this host again. I would hope VRBO would remove this property from its listings.
