Our charming one bedroom (Queen Bed)apartment is perfect for a getaway in NW IN and will provide everything you need to have an enjoyable stay! Located near Lighthouse Outlets, Restaurants, Casino, Breweries, Indiana Dunes National & State Parks (7 -11.3 miles), Washington Park (1.4 miles) and more! South Shore Line electric train platform is right behind property. (in quiet zone). Day trips are easy to downtown Chicago or South Bend IN. Catch a Notre Dame game one day and see the Bears the next.
The space
Janet and I have always taken great pride in having our units furnished, clean and tidy.
This cute apartment has all of the beautiful features of days gone by.
It is located in the historical district in Michigan City. Our building was built in 1882 and is the upper rear unit. It is a quiet, one BR with a full size bed and a full kitchen. The bathroom has an old time claw tub (great for soaking and reading a book) with a shower! Note: The toilet is in a smaller space and a larger person may find it uncomfortable.
Guest access
Parking is available on the street in front of the building or in the rear of our property. Walking uptown to the retail shops and restaurants is always fun and weather permitting; we are only 10 blocks to the beach. Uber is available in Michigan City as well!
Other things to note
Tub is a vintage clawed tub great for long baths.
Toilet area is small and difficult for larger guests. See picture.
