The Matriarch suite 3 offers the comforts of a King bed, and space to sprawl in the living room. Prepare appetizers with gourmet treats from the market 1/2 block away while hanging at the bistro table. Stay classy at The Matriarch, a Swank House property.



The Space:

Suite 3 is a private suite located in a portion of the historical Matriarch Heritage House, built in 1894. Suite 3 has it's own entrance and is completely self sustained. Suite 3 offers a king sized bedroom with additional closet space. Separate living area with couch, TV and complementary Netflix, Disney+ and Hulu.. Need a workspace? We've got you covered with additional bistro table sitting for those last minute Zoom calls.



The french bistro kitchenette offers a space to prepare appetizers and light meals. Toaster, microwave, dishes, cutlery, mini refrigerator and a sink are all supplied. We do not offer a cooktop at this time but there is a communal BBQ in the yard during the sunny season.



Please note: Suite 3 shares a wall and is under the top floor of The Matriarch Heritage House. This house is over 100 years old and you will likely hear sounds of life in this heritage home. Please thoughtfully consider these before booking.



Guest Access:

Guest has access the your suite and shared outdoor patio seating areas (open in the summer time).



The Neighborhood:

The Matriarch is located in the historical Railroad district of downtown Ashland.

-->6 minute WALK to the doors of Oregon Shakespeare Festival

--> 5 minute WALK to over 20 restaurants

--> 1/2 block to the local food Co-op

--> Local shopping awaits.



Getting Around:

We suggest walking as you are steps from all that Ashland has to offer.

The Matriarch is a collection of individual suites AND our Heritage House (2 bed, 2 bath). Please see our other listings if you are interested in hosting a larger group.



Interaction with Guests:

We value guests' autonomy but our staff is always available by text, phone or minutes away to serve you. The Matriarch Hotel also hosts several separate private guest suites on location. You may likely see these guests outside as they visit Ashland.
