What a terrible guest. I did not offer an early check in. I told her that if no one rented the property on June 20, an early check in on June 21 would be no problem. Unfortunately for her, someone rented the property the week prior. That guest was told no late checkouts. That guest agreed to leave on time. When my cleaning crew arrived at check out time, that guests was still there. I had to get the Platform involved to get the other guest out. When Mikki arrived, the cleaning crew was almost done. Check in was at 2:00 pm. The place was ready at 2:30 pm The cleaning crew invited her and her group in at 2:00 pm because they were done with the 2nd and 3rd floors. I called her and explained what happened and apologized profusely. I offered to give her a full refund and allow her to go to another property. She declined. I promised I would make an accommodation to her for not being ready and for her having to wait 30 minutes which is what she really seemed to angling for. I sent her $100 via Zelle. She did not mention that in her complaint. Mikki spent the rest of the weekend looking for anything she could find to complain about. She actually sent me a picture of a piece of dirt behind the toilet. There is a bathroom fan that has yellowed over the years. Yep, she sent that picture too. Countless families have stayed here. No one else has ever complained. We are always working to improve the experience. The pictures on this platform show the furniture in the house. Those were the same pictures we had up when she rented the place. We have Queen beds and flat screen TVs in every bedroom. We have a living room set, a dining room set, and bar stools. Beware homeowners, this woman will come to your home and complain about every little thing.
