Our charming 3-bedroom vacation rental, ideally situated just a short stroll away from the serene Douglas Beach and the picturesque Lakeshore Drive. Nestled in a tranquil setting, our home is only a mile from downtown Douglas, which offers delightful shops, local dining gems, and vibrant art galleries. We take pride in our location, as it allows our guests to enjoy both the peacefulness of nature and the lively culture of the surrounding area. Whether you're here for a romantic escape, a family vacation, or a gathering with friends, we know you'll find everything you need right at our doorstep.

INSIDE THE HOME
As you step into our cozy retreat, you'll immediately notice the welcoming ambiance that we've carefully crafted. The heart of our home is the inviting living area, complete with a gas fireplace where you can gather around on cooler evenings, chatting and laughing over stories from the day. Our fully stocked kitchen is perfect for those who love to cook; it's equipped with everything you need to whip up delicious meals, whether you're preparing breakfast for a day of adventures or dinners to enjoy around our dining table. Each of our three bedrooms has been designed to provide a restful retreat for our guests. We've thoughtfully decorated each space to reflect both comfort and charm, ensuring everyone has a cozy spot to unwind after a long day of fun by the beach or exploring the local attractions.

Great property that worked out perfectly for our family. Very well-appointed home, with beautiful linens, comfy furniture, good kitchenware etc. Super easy walk to the beach, great coffee shop (and fantastic “Rootbeer Barrel” hot dog stand!) minutes away. Home was spotless, quiet, roomy, and comfy. Lovely yard area, hot tub. Could easily imagine yourself living in Douglas’ cute community.Host company is a very polished and communicative outfit. They clearly do both rentals and real estate; there was realty-oriented stuff in and around the property (for sale signs, open house materials, etc) which might explain their very high damage deposit of 3K for a three night stay. A couple tiny things: they only provided one towel per person, which wasn’t a huge deal but felt a bit odd for a high-end rental. And when we inquired to see if there were any outdoor towels or chairs we could take to the beach (so as not to use our one precious towel each), they said no and that they could offer rental recommendations. But then on the morning of our checkout, we found a whole bunch of beach stuff (including chairs and boogie boards etc) in the shed outside. Bummer. Maybe they didn’t know about them (or the shed wasn’t supposed to be unlocked?), but it would’ve been really nice to have been able to use them. Finally, though it’s becoming more common, be aware of their 10am hard check-out time. With MI on Eastern time, that came really early for us (visiting from MST).

Yes, the homeowners are selling the property; hence, real estate material (they are realtors as well). Our apologies that someone gave you the wrong information. I also want to confirm that you ONLY paid $75.00 for rental insurance. It is very common to have a 10:00 am check out time in this area. Thank you

Lovely home walking distance to beach and close to shops and restaurants. Very clean and well stocked. Air conditioning worked well and we loved the fire pit. Check in was very easy. Only thing we would have liked was a cocktail shaker and some beach towels. There were beach chairs in the shed. Nice bird feeder to watch the birds and silly squirrels and chipmunks.! Very peaceful area

Beautiful House

The house was lovely and very clean. We did see a few spiders and several carpenter ants, but there are many older trees around it so that is to be expected. The only negative was there no ice. Doesn’t appear that there is a water line connected to the refrigerator. There was only one ice tray, but it had holes in it. We made due, but in the summer that may be a bigger issue for folks.
