Lake trip

Host was very kind and assisted with all our questions. Property was perfect for a short trip to spend time on Lake Harmony and relax in the evenings. Easy walk or drive to the beach & launch for kayaks/canoes/tubes!

The property was dirty and in disrepair. Spiders everywhere, broken doors, cobwebs. We were not comfortable with the condition of the property and had to book a hotel over 30 minutes away. Proceed with caution.

Overall we were disappointed with the accommodation and would not return to this property if we were to stay in Lake Harmony again. The location was good but the home itself was a bit of a let down. We weren't provided with the code for the front door and had to call Vrbo customer assistance and wait in the cold for 20 minutes before we could get in. The utensils, cutlery, pots and pans in the kitchen were all a bit grubby and needed to be cleaned before we could use them. The washing machine didn't work properly. Overall the property felt a bit uncared for and needs some interior work, more thorough cleaning and closer attention to detail.

Skirmish paintball

Came up with a group of friends. House was exactly what we needed. View of the lake down the street. Nicks lake house 2 minutes away. Awesome food and scenery. Piggy’s is a breakfast joint we stopped at in the morning also 2 min away. All in all great spot

A lot of dust. WiFi didn’t work for the first 36 hours of a 48 hour stay which meant no TV’s as well. Tried to do a load of laundry and the water used to do one load used all the water in the well so we went about 4 hours with no running water. The host communicated with us fairly well that the wifi issue was being looked at then fixed and about the water eventually coming back on its own once the well refilled. Very good house for the price but things definitely could’ve gone better.

Short ski trip

Took wide and 2 daughters skiing at Jack Frost and big boulder. CK was accommodating at check in. Heat worked and hot water worked which were most important thing in the winter time. Everything else was just what we needed. Beautiful neighborhood with a lot of humanized deer that will come visit.

Overall good but some minor issues

Overall a good stay. Just a couple of minor issues for the host to consider:- Fitted bedsheet wasn't properly fitted meaning that the corner came off while I was sleeping- Washing machine has some issue with the water supply that I was able to figure out, but nevertheless requires repair for guests to use properly- Shampoo and detergent needs to be refilled, we barely just had enough for our stay

You get what you pay for

The house itself is situated in Lake Harmony so it is great for those visiting the local ski resorts, water park attractions. The house itself had a few drawbacks. First, the house was FREEZING cold when we arrived. We had to call the manager to ask how to turn on the heat. The heat should becturned on before guests arrive. Also, the driveway is steep and there was ice and snow on the driveway and no salts to try to make this access to the house less slippery. I was concerned someone was going to slip and fall on the ice. The house needs a few coats of fresh paint. They try to decorate it and it looks nice through the pictures but once inside you can see that the house needs some TLC. The bathroom was gross. My husband and I actually cleaned the bathroom because othere was hair inside it.us oukind of fuzzy.

Beautiful home, the stay was great the host is amazing and very friendly. The host would reply instantly. This place is located very close to a lake and the surroundings are beautiful, definitely recommend this place for a little reset trip.
