Directly on Great Pond inside Cape Cod National Seashore Park, this charming 2 bedroom cottage has it all! Fresh water swimming at your door, Beautiful views, and Everything you will need. Oversize deck out front with great views over looking Wellfleet's Great Pond; enjoy the view sipping your morning coffee, or having a fun and memorable family meal. Connected directly to the deck are steps that lead right to the waters edge for easy access for swimming and the large private floating dock.
The space
This cottage located directly on Wellfleet's Great Pond is a charming spot with a private beach and dock, far enough from the crowds, yet only a short distance to the ocean or town center and surrounding areas. You are truly in for a fantastic vacation!
While we cannot guarantee what you will see we can speak to what has been seen. Birds abound everywhere on the Cape. There have been sightings of Wild Turkeys, Deer, Otters, Squirrels, Chipmunks, just to name a few. Some guests like to put bird feed out which draws in a multitude of different birds as well as squirrels and chipmunks. There are many many opportunities for photos, nearby and in your travels, don't forget to bring your camera.
It is about a 3 minute drive to the Ocean Beach, 5 minutes to the town center of Wellfleet, and about 20 minute drive to P-Town. The town center has a small grocery store and the Stop and Shop (major grocery store) is located approx. 20 minutes away in P-Town or 25 minutes away in Orleans. The rail trail (bicycle riding trail) starts in south Wellfleet which is less than a 10 minute drive. The WHAT (Wellflleet Harbor Actors Theater) is about 5 minutes away and offers many performances during the year. Whale watching is also one of the great things to do while on the Cape.

The Master Bedroom, includes a ceiling fan, amoire, dresser, nightstands, bedside reading lamps and a King Size mattress.
1 bunk bed in the other. (double bottom, single top), along with a ceiling fan, and amoire.
Guest access
The entire cottage, deck and private beach at the bottom of the steps along with a floating dock, large enough to put 2 lounging beach chairs on are yours for the entirety of your stay.
There is a large (up to 4 - 5 cars) private parking lot directly behind the cottage.
