Had issues

Immediately upon arrival, we noticed several dead bugs in the shower. This would have not been a huge deal because we could have just washed them down the drain, however it prompted us to look at the bed. When we pulled back the sheets, there were several hairs and stains on the sheets. I immediately contacted the host who answered promptly with a promise of a solution and to send the cleaning crew based on pictures I sent. We went to eat dinner and returned 2 hours later, expecting it to have been cleaned. It was not. After 3 hours of no response, the host offered to refund the cleaning fee and send someone the next day, expecting us to still sleep in the dirty bed or stay somewhere else, but refusing to refund at the very least the first night’s fee when we were unable to sleep there. There was apparently a big event in town, making the only available hotel room in Evansville over 300 for the night. We were forced to move our trip 2 hours away to another state where we could find a room, which we had to do at 10 pm based on delayed responses from the host. The host now refuses to reply to my messages and/or refund the stay, even though we were not able to stay at their property solely due to the cleanliness, at no fault of ours. We did not return to Evansville after the initial check in, moving our entire trip 2 states away and now since the host will not reply or refund my money, we had to pay for this property PLUS a hotel for 3 nights in another city/state.
