The home and property provided and relaxing get-a-way for our family, including 3 children under 5. The home is well supplied and comfortable. We especially enjoyed the excellent hot tub after a long day of hiking.

Would definitely stay here again. Outside area outstanding with hot tub, fire pit, rocking chairs. Close to park entrance. Owners very responsive to minor issue that came up.

Papa’s place was an amazing stay for our family’s time in Mount Rainer area. The place was warm and cozy, clearly listed instructions for everything. It was so well stocked/thought through for what people might need. A family of deer seem to be familiar with it and it was magical seeing that.Beds and couches were actually comfy, it felt like I was visiting my grandparents place when I was younger. (you’ve been to the places that do the cheapest most basic items, this is NOT it.)Could not recommend this place enough!

Everything was great. Especially, enjoyed the back yard. Icing on the cake was they even left a box fan in the bedroom which I always use at home to drown out noise of others. We wil definitely be back!

Layout with 2 king bedrooms was ideal for us, Adult kids and grandkids. Kitchen well stocked w everything needed to cook in. Home very modern and well maintained. Outdoor covered sitting and BBQ area was great as well as the large well kept hot tub on the covered back porch Backyard faced forest and mountains very private. Host was very responsive.

I highly recommend Papa’s Place to anyone traveling to Mt. Rainier/Ashford, WA. The cabin is very beautifully decorated and extremely warm and welcoming, and not to mention immaculately clean! Michelle was a wonderful host and checked in to make sure we had everything we needed for our stay. If we come back to the area will definitely stay at Papa’s Place!

Great place!

We all enjoyed our time staying here. The house was clean, layout is spacious and great amenities. Wished we had more time to enjoy it all. Didn’t see much wildlife in the property but lots on the way to it (not sure if that’s a good thing or a bad thing). Overall recommend staying here.

What a beautiful home! The location was perfect for exploring Mt. Rainier National Park. We enjoyed the fire pit and cornhole in the evenings. The host was very responsive via email and text when we had questions. Michelle gave us great suggestions for local restaurants and hiking in the park. The kitchen was well stocked with good cookware and plenty of dishes and silverware. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Cabin was lovely! The outdoor area is great, hot tub, covered seating, firepit, etc. Kirchen is well stocked. The beds are quite firm so if thats how you like it, you will be pleased.

We had a wonderful experience at Papa’s Place. Everything is brand new,including the kitchen, shower room, and more and we absolutely loved it. Michelle is an excellent communicator who checked in on us regularly. The outdoor kitchen is fantastic too. After a long day of hiking, the hot tub was the perfect way to unwind. The location is also great. It’s just a 10-minute drive to the gas station, where you can grab basic supplies and even medical items. If we return to Mt. Rainier, we will definitely stay at Papa’s Place again!
