La maison a deux étages.

Au rez-de-chaussée il y a une grande terrasse extérieure avec vue sur la mer. Idéal pour regarder le coucher du soleil ou faire des barbecues et des boissons. À l'intérieur, il y a un grand salon, avec un téléviseur UHD incurvé de 68 ', une grande table à manger pour 8 et une cuisine ouverte intégrée. Au rez-de-chaussée, il y a également une chambre avec deux lits jumeaux qui peuvent être combinés pour former un lit king-size, ainsi qu'une salle de bain complète.

Au premier étage, il y a trois chambres avec salle de bains avec lits king size et toutes avec une vue spectaculaire sur la mer.

Accès invité

Vous pourrez accéder à la maison directement par bateau, en prenant l'un des multiples bateaux à moteur trouvés dans la marina de Chiquila. Ils peuvent transporter jusqu'à huit passagers avec des bagages modérés. Les bateaux peuvent vous déposer sur la plage juste en face de la maison. Le voyage coûte env. U $ 40. C'est un trajet de 15 minutes.

Vous pouvez également prendre le ferry de Chiquila à Holbox. Ils courent toutes les 30 minutes. C'est un trajet de 20 minutes. Ils fonctionnent généralement de 8 h à 20 h. Une fois dans la marina de Holbox, de nombreux taxis peuvent vous emmener à la maison. Un trajet de 8 min.

Votre dernière option est via un petit avion. Il s'agit d'un vol de 20 minutes de Cancun. Ils transportent généralement jusqu'à trois passagers et le coût tourne autour de U $ 500.

Le quartier

Casa Gonza est située dans la partie ouest de l'île. Le quartier le plus résidentiel. Il est à 25 minutes à pied de la plage du centre-ville ou à 5 minutes en voiturette de golf.

Perfect stay

Sylvia made the stay a perfect time. She helped us arrange taxis, prepared two amazing meals and even got our water running with a generator when the island power supply shut down.

Holbox vacation

House was great! Very relaxing and off the beaten path. Beach front was lovely.Recommend getting a golf cart to travel to town.There are some restaurants down the beach that are easy to walk to, but for the local experience there are some great restaurants downtown.

Paradise at Punta Coco

Casa Gonza is a beautiful property. We enjoyed our stay very much. We highly recommend having Silvia and Carla make breakfast for you each day… they make wonderful meals and the Chilaquiles were are very favorite. Everyone was very kind and responsive to our needs, Based on our experience, we would return!

Host was welcoming and very helpful in days leading up to our stay. Very kind. Overall, the house had some challenges including ants…everywhere. We couldn’t leave any food out without ants attacking. Also ants in the rooms. Construction was happening at the house next to us so that resulted in early morning noise. Also a lot of foot traffic walking across the property.

Best vacation ever!

This house met all of our expectations and more. The house sits right on a spectacular stretch of beach. You can walk to town center on the beach in ten minutes. It is paddle distance to the flamingos. At night the phosphorescients are incredible. The house stays cool.the housekeeper is an incredible cook. We are coming back asap

Solid Holbox rental

Very good stay but a few things to consider. Water pressure in showers is low. No railing on back deck with a 8 foot drop. Be careful if you consider bringing small kids or folks with mobility challenges. Hot water at kitchen sink low pressure and hot water heater seems nearly broken. Other than that Sylvia was a great cook, helpful, and this is a place I would consider coming back if some improvements were made.

Beautiful

Wow! Absolutely beautiful property. We have been to Holbox before and stayed in town so we were nervous about staying this far out…so thankful we did. The property is beautiful and has everything you need. Beds are comfy too. Definitely recommend having Silvia cook for you a few times. Absolutely incredible. Short walk to restaurants and stores. Water was lovely. Bioluminescence was absolutely incredible right outside of the house. We swam every night and we were completely mesmerized. Starfish, skates and lots of fish too! Got crazy lucky when a hatching of turtles happened right next door!!! What a memorable vacation…,thanks for sharing your home,

Great location

It was a great location and the house is overall very nice! The housekeeper, Silvia, is incredible and more of a concierge. She can arrange all kinds of tours and dining. Holbox itself is a stunning, lyrical place. However, the listing said there was a TV and an oven but the TV had been stripped from the wall and the oven was broken with no plans to fix. Normally this would not have been an issue but the weather was bad so we spent more time inside than usual. The owner offered no refund or concessions. Also - there was considerable construction next door and lots of bugs (and a scorpion) inside the house.

We had a great time with a group of girls. Amazing ocean views from every room. The only thing I would suggest is use the safe that is provided.

The property was perfectly located in a quiet residential area. The home was comfortable, and the property attendant/house keeper, Silvia, went out of her way to make sure that everything was taken care of, including home cooked meals and transportation arrangements. We would definitely choose to stay here again. Thanks to Gonzalo and Silvia for making our stay perfect!

Home needs a lot of maintenance and TLC

The location is very far from centro. Taxis were difficult to get. It is a 35-40 minute walk to town (description says 20 minutes which is not correct....maybe if you jog). The house itself really needs some maintenance. Screens broken, water leaking under one of the sinks in the bathroom, leaks also under the main floor bathroom, a dripping tap in the kitchen, clicking noise from the propane stove top that never stopped, old appliances in the bank yard not disposed of. The Oven didn't work either. The generator is loud if you sleep in the bedroom over that generator with the windows open. Silvia (the house keeper and cook) though was amazing and the rating improved only because of her. I did finally find a taxi when I walked to town and flagged someone down. I had tried several times to find a taxi using Google search...no luck...no replies to emails or WhatsApp numbers shown in google. We were a party of 7 women (all over 55 years of age and one of the ladies couldn't walk). The taxi driver (ATV) that I found in town was named Oliver and he was truly amazing!! I managed to get him on WhatsApp. He is a local resident and speaks English great. His number is +52 998-317-9527. Definitely call this guy! Of note....this property is the thoroughfare for beach walkers so if you're sitting on that terrace, everyone is walking past your terrace to cut through to rejoin the beach. Not very private as a result.

Taxi availability is beyond our control and may be more difficult in high season. All beaches in Mexico ar public, and as such people are free to use them. Simply amazing!!

This house is amazing, right on the water! There is a bit of foot traffic but that didn't bother us. Silvia was super helpful with booking transportation and a boat tour. And her crew comes in every day to clean the house and make sure everything is ok. We loved our stay there and will definitely come back.

Beautiful Beach House

Overall we loved our stay at this home. The location is far above what we expected and the home had everything we needed. Also, we would highly recommend anyone who stays in this home to employ the housekeeper Sylvia to cook several meals. She is an excellent home cook and provides a delicious menu - the seafood meal was our favourite. Thank you!

Beautiful Home--Beautiful Island

The home is in a great location not too far from town...20 minute walk to town on the roads or along the beach. We rented a golf cart but in retrospect, didn't need them. We had bicycles too that we enjoyed better. The house was everything we needed. The beds were the most comfortable we had ever had at a rental property. Always had hot showers. AC worked well. Sunsets right out the patio door and just steps from the water. Nothing but good to say about this island. Our first trip to Holbox. We have stayed on Isla Mujeres probably 20 times and will likely make Holbox our new favorite. Try it and enjoy!

The property is right on the water with a sandy beach. shallow water a long way out from shore made for everyone, young and old, being able to enjoy the water. The 4 bed rooms each with its own bath worked out well for our 4 families. We would go back.

Everything we expected and more

We recently stayed at this home for a small family reunion getaway. My kids, my parents, my siblings and spouses. Simply put, this place was amazing. The oceanfront property is truly breathtaking with such calm and clear water that is unoccupied and completely yours to yourself. The kayaks were a huge hit. Most of our day was spent on the water or sitting on the back porch watching the water all day. Furthermore, Silvia was tremendous. So helpful with everything and truly an amazing cook. I highly recommend hiring her to cook a seafood dinner during your stay. One of the best meals we’ve ever had. The island of Holbox is truly something special. The locals are honest and nice. Everyone so hospitable. I recommend this place for anyone coming with family or small group of friends for the most relaxing, authentic, and serene experiences you’ve ever had. 5 stars—without a doubt. Thank you.

Great house for groups!

The house is great for groups - perfect for spending time together relaxing, preparing meals and having delicious meals cooked by Sylvia! Golf carts make it easy to get around but otherwise it is a gorgeous 20 min walk along the beach to town.

Amazing home & Amazing Hosts

From our first interactions with the host, we were impressed with their response times. Silvia was able to help me coordinate a private boat to pick us up. When we arrived, Silvia & Gabby were there to greet us and help us get our luggage inside. They cooked amazing meals for us, and also helped my husband I when we got sick by making us tea and helping us pick up groceries and medicine. The house itself is amazing, super clean, and on an amazing property right on the water. Everyone in our group of 8 people left feeling very impressed and happy with our stay! We hope we can come back sometime in the future! Thank you to everyone who made it such a warm welcome and a memorable experience!

Tropical paradise found!!!!

There are not enough words to describe how special this property is. We came 8 girls for a week and had the time of our life. The house is situated far enough away from town that it’s quiet enough but a short 20 minute taxi into town. From the house you can walk to beach clubs and restaurants, and the walk is incredible. The house is is very simple, modern, clean and full of windows that look out to a tropical paradise. The beds were comfy, bathrooms and bedrooms very large and well thought out. I Give this place 5 stars!!!

Casa Gonza's beach front site is the best!

Our family of 5 (kids ages 11, 12 and 14) thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Gonza. The site for the house is unbeatable - smack-dab on a beautiful stretch of beach with gorgeous shallow water immediately at our feet. The beach feels nearly private - reserved just for you - even though there are some daily passer-bys. The house itself was comfortable for our family. With 4 bedrooms with en suite baths, everyone had their own space. The bedrooms are sparsely furnished - noticeable with the huge size of the rooms - but the beds were ultra comfortable and the AC units performed well during our very hot visit in August. The kitchen is adequately equipped, but less so than similar houses we've rented in other locations. The pots/pans and cooking tools could use an uplift. The house manager, Silvia, was very helpful and maintained the house nicely each day. We recommend Casa Gonza over a boutique hotel in town - the beach and privacy here are unparalleled on Isla Holbox.

Great property in a gorgeous location

We absolutely loved our stay here. The house is a great size--4 large bedrooms each with it's on bathroom. Kitchen is well equipped and very functional. Hacing filtered water and ice on hand is a big perk. The setting is absolutely gorgeous with amazing views--the house is right in the beach like the pictures show. The air conditioning works well. The house is about a 30 minute walk (or 10 minute gold cart ride) from town. There isn't much right around the house. The biggest downside to the house is that there is not much for water--we all pretty much took cold showers all week. Overall we loved it and would definitely come back!

Perfect Retreat

Super user friendly place just far enough from town so you feel special, yet close enough to enjoy a golf cart ride, or even 1 mile walk along the beach to get to town and restaurants. None of that is even needed if you coordinate with Gaucho and Maura to make meals for you-awesome preparation and taste make you want to just stay there for every meal. Silvia kept the place very well clean and kept every day. Hope to return soon.
