This is a beautiful lake property with hiking and waterfalls a short drive away.If you are looking for a safe, peaceful, relaxing spot this is it. The home is comfortable for a small family. The kitchen has all the gadgets for cooking as well as a nice grill outside. The yard is magnificent with towering trees and lots of room for play. If you don't want to sit on the comfy deck furniture there are chairs to carry out to sit near the water / pier. They have kayaks and a paddle boat available for use too. The host is quick to respond to questions via the app. We would stay again!

Very beautiful area and property. The cottage was cozy and just the right size for a small family. There was a slight propane smell but that was easily gone after airing out the place.

Nice property with a large yard. The house was really cute but could have used some better cleaning in the bathrooms. Otherwise a perfect place close to our familys cottage on high falls. Nice big bedrooms that fit pack n plays. Thanks for hosting!

Everything was great, good price. The only thing I didn't like is that the lake was just for looking at, It's very shallow and I took a stick to test what kind of bottom it was and right off the dock it went down about 3 feet of muck. If you don't plan on going in the water it's a GREAT place.

A wonderful stay!

We spent two glorious weeks at Joann’s lake cottage and enjoyed every moment of it! The cottage sits on a large piece of property with a short stroll down to the waterfront. A beautiful view from the cottage as well!Joann was kind & responsive and we really felt comfortable throughout our stay. She had new cookware & bakeware delivered which sure was appreciated as we enjoy cooking most meals at home.. new propane grill as well. We look forward to returning to our beautiful home away from home!

Our stay was not typical. First the location is great, lots of room, big deck, peaceful lakeside. We had to cut our stay short because of a recurring issue with a gas leak. The owner lives in Las Vegas. Responses to phone msg and texts varied. This would not have been a big problem except for the urgency of our particular situation. Coordination issues with local caretaker/utilities ultimately contributed to our early departure. There was an initial attempt to repair but the problem reoccured. Waiting on a follow-up repair was not going to work for us.The owner was gracious and apologetic. She did give us a refund. I believe the location has a lot of positives. I wish we would have had more of an opportunity to enjoy them..
