We had a wonderful stay. The owner was very responsive and accommodating when we had to make some changes to our dates several times. The views from the home are beautiful. Our family of 5 enjoyed it very much.

Family weekend

Nice clean home with nice views and plenty of room to relax after a day out adventuring. Centrally situated between Fairplay and Buena Vista.

The dwelling was nice. The scenery was beautiful! The water has a strong sulfur smell from well. Other than that we very much enjoyed our stay. Thank you! I would come back again.

Annual Colorado trip!

We come to Colorado every summer with a group of friends and we all stay in the same area, different houses. We bring dirt bikes, side by sides, and jeeps. It was really nice being so close to one of the trailheads that this group rides a lot. We had a great time.

Fourth of July escape

Perfect cabin for a weekend getaway with 3 kids. 25 minutes outside of Buena Vista, so rafting and dinner in town was easy. We were able to mountain bike right out of the driveway and cook a whole family dinner in the kitchen. Upstairs master suite is very nice with great views, and downstairs space is perfect for multiple kids. Owner was responsive and helpful

This cabin was so cute and perfect for our weekend stay. The views are amazing! There was enough room for our truck and 12ft trailer. Quiet neighborhood. It is well water so it can have a sulphur smell at first. We only used the bed upstairs and it was very comfortable. There are 2 different coffee pots and a keurig with all the fixings!

This is an excellent rental, nice and quiet with great views in all directions - especially for sunrise, sunset, and star-gazing. Lots of space for myself and my two teens. Full and fully stocked kitchen, very easy to cook meals in which saved lots of money vs going out. Nice large tub for soaks - I brought some bubble bath along but it wasn't enough! Missed my bath "pillow" too though. There is a skylight right over the largest bed in the top bedroom, and I wish I had thought to bring a sleep mask as I'm sensitive to light and it would wake me early each morning before I wanted to get up. Had an odd issue where steam from the upstairs shower temporarily set off the smoke alarm (not a particularly long or steamy shower) - I'd say make sure to open the window a bit to vent. There was the occasional large ant walking across the kitchen floor, which we just took care of. Cute chipmunks outside. I also wish there was a curtain or covering on the upstairs bathroom window, just felt weird. Tissues in the bathrooms would be nice too, but found tissue boxes elsewhere in the house. Overall I really do recommend this for a roomy comfortable rental in a wonderful setting. Owner was easy to work with and check in and check out went smoothly.
