Points forts : Propreté, arrivée
Points faibles : Communication, emplacement et exactitude de l’annonce.
I'm sure the place was quite lovely, but we never saw it. We tried to contact the host several times, and she did not respond until 90 minutes before check-in. When she finally did contact us, it was to tell us that there was an issue with the toilet (a terrible smell, she said) and that the place was not available. She of course had another place for us.The new place was quite high-tech and very new, but it was not where we had agreed to book. It was at least 2 kilometers away and, in an area, where NOTHING was open, because of the lunar new year celebration. We had to walk 1 1/2 Kilometers each way to the old quarter, where stores and restaurants were open. Very inconvenient. The new place was also very small and cramped and had solid doors (not with windows) looking outside, so it was a bit dark in the room.In her defense, when did give us a free shuttle to the airport when we left.

The home stay was very nice and comfortable! The check in seemed confusing but the instructions made it super easy. The little kitchen area was nice to have, and the laundry worked very well. The place is a studio apartment style with all one room and then a bathroom. My only complaint was that it was not actually near the famous area of the train street where there are cafes on the tracks. I did discuss this with the owner after we arrived and he explained where that area was. Overall communication was excellent and they even arranged our airport rides. The street is busy during the day but nice and quiet at night. I loved watching the mopeds go by, stacked with kitchen items from the shops below. Most of the sites within Hanoi are easily walkable, even if it’s super hot as it was when we were there.

Experience Hanoi Like a Local – Stay in Our Family’s Heartfelt Home

Hello! My name is Candy Lin, and I was born and raised right here in the vibrant Old Quarter of Hanoi. I love every little alley, every street-side eatery, and most of all, I enjoy sharing these amazing experiences with friends from all over the world.

What makes staying at my apartment special is not just its prime location—right in the heart of the Old Quarter, near Hoan Kiem Lake, Dong Xuan Market, and the best local eateries—but also the feeling of living like a true Hanoian. My parents live nearby and are always happy to help with anything you need—whether it’s recommending the best local dishes, hidden coffee spots, or sharing fascinating stories about old Hanoi.

I believe that traveling is not just about visiting places but also about experiencing the culture and connecting with the people. So when you stay here, consider us your local friends, ready to make your Hanoi journey truly unforgettable!

Welcome to our home! 😊

Living History in Hanoi’s Old Quarter – A Neighborhood Full of Stories

I chose this neighborhood because it’s the heart and soul of Hanoi. This is one of the city’s oldest commercial streets, where generations of merchants have traded goods for centuries. Just a short walk away is Dong Xuan Market, Hanoi’s largest and most famous market—a must-visit destination for every traveler.

What I love most about this area is the sense of time lingering in every corner. The historic Long Bien Train Station, with its rustic charm, is just nearby, adding to the old-world atmosphere. Walking through these streets, you’ll see the marks of time on the weathered walls, the traditional shop-houses, and the vibrant daily life of local traders.

Staying here means immersing yourself in the authentic rhythm of Hanoi—where past and present blend seamlessly. Whether it’s the aroma of freshly brewed egg coffee, the lively morning markets, or the sight of street vendors carrying baskets full of fresh produce, this neighborhood offers an experience like no other.

Come and see for yourself why this place has captivated so many hearts!

A Rare Spacious Gem in Hanoi’s Old Quarter – Comfort & Convenience Combined

What makes my property truly unique is its rare spaciousness—something you won’t often find in the bustling Old Quarter. While most accommodations here are compact, my apartment offers a generous living space, ensuring a comfortable stay without feeling cramped.

Unlike many buildings in the area, ours is equipped with a modern elevator, making it easy to access your room after a long day of exploring Hanoi’s vibrant streets. To add to your convenience, we offer free laundry and drying services, so you can travel light and feel at home.

One of the standout features of the apartment is the bathtub, a luxury not commonly found in Hanoi’s Old Quarter stays. After a day of sightseeing, you can unwind with a relaxing soak. Plus, the apartment boasts large windows with stunning views—overlooking the charming railway tracks and the dynamic street life below, giving you a front-row seat to Hanoi’s unique energy.

If you’re looking for a blend of space, comfort, and authentic Hanoi charm, this is the perfect place for you!
