Great first visit to London

Alex's place was a great home base to explore London from. Three of us stayed and is was perfect. Having a full kitchen and also a washing machine was very convenient so that we didnt have to eat out all of the time, or bring as many clothes. The upstairs neighbor was a bit loud though. It is easy to hear through the walls, but that is to be expected in buildings of that kind. Overall great stay!

Cozy flat

The furniture was a bit worn but very comfy. Ground floor so no lugging suitcases up flights of stairs. Park across the road so children’s voices were lovely to hear. A bit noisy with other tenants but not late and not for long. Fully fitted kitchen including washing machine so meals in were easy. Walking distance to food shops and restaurants and tube station. I would book again!

Okay

The place had potential and the area was nice and quiet and not too far from the tube. But had a hard time getting past how dirty things were. We found old underwear and feminine hygiene products and the carpets desperately needed a proper clean. Don’t look under the furniture.

Great area

Property was ok .. bathroom tiles all cracked. Microwave had no glass turning plate. The tv at 32 inches is way too small. The kitchen didn’t have any tea towels there was a paper towel that had 10 pieces left on it. Buy a tea towel and have one box of tissues it makes all the difference.

lovely flat in good location

The flat had everything we needed, including a well-fitted-out kitchen. Very clean and with nice kitchen and bathroom facilities. A bit cramped for 4 people, but about what one would expect for central London. 10-15min walk from a tube station. No hassles on check-in and check-out. All-around excellent place -- would stay here again!

Great location

Beautiful flat, well equipped in a great location! Quiet street, across the street from a park. My only issue was lack of instructions for use of washing machine, and TV remotes (which did have limited details, but still difficult to use) Also, kitchen was very well equipped, but a few staples, ie sugar, would have been appreciated. Otherwise wonderful, and I'd definitely stay there again!

Cozy Flat

The flat was very cozy and charming. The rental itself was what I expected and needed in a short term rental. However, the building itself was very noisy. The walls and floors are very thin and you hear all the external noises.

Fantastic Flat

This was our second stay. This is a great place for its location on a quiet road and it has a nice kitchen to cook meals easily, so not always eating out. Very clean too. Nice restaurants nearby if you’d rather eat out. And access to District or Piccadilly lines to get you around the city.

Perfect for long stay- spacious and close proximity to everything.

We really enjoyed staying in this flat. It was clean, kitchen had all the essentials, and plenty of storage for settling in for our month long stay. Easy access to Earls Court for District and Piccadilly Lines to get around the city. Only shortcomings were street noise from busy kids courts across from unit, tired furniture and early/late day clomping up and down adjoining stairway.

PROS 1. close to underground at Earl's Court and West Brompton 2. great restaurants/pubs within walking distance 3. kitchen well appointed and amenities adequate for our needs CONS 1. very loud tenant in above apartment. Kept weird hours and would arrive home in wee hours of morning. Banging around apartment and moving furniture while we were sleeping 2. needs refurbishing as furniture outdated 3. more towels for our stay would have been nice 4. bathtub/shower very small and door needs a more stable position to ensure water does not spill over onto the floor
