This happy four-bedroom, two-bath home in central Port Angeles is thoughtfully designed, including a landscaped garden, water views, vinyl records, and wood fireplace. As a hub for families exploring the Peninsula, the home has cribs, high chairs and a game room with a 75" TV, Atari, karaoke, and shuffleboard, and is an easy walk to Peninsula College and the Dream Playground. It's minutes from the Olympic National Park Visitor Center, the base of Hurricane Ridge, and the ferry to Victoria.

This house was so comfortable and quiet for our weekend getaway to the Olympic Peninsula. We only used the 2 bedrooms on the main floor, but it is clearly a nice set up for more travelers and those with young children (downstairs game room). We enjoyed the view of the Strait and the ease of access to the Olympic Peninsula trails that we took such as the Sol Duc and Rialto Beach to see the ocean.

Wow! This Port Angeles home was a very comfortable and thoughtful place to stay during our trip to Olympic National Park for a family of 3 generations. The kids had plenty of entertainment in their space while the adults could enjoy the view from the main floor. There were so many small touches that really made our stay special.

Red House has it all!

We loved this gem of a house. Updated, clean, inviting, lots of space/beds, games/entertainment, and safe and secure. Views of the ocean shore and the majestic mountains. Absolutely loved the little touches of interactive guest details.

Just lovely

Couldn’t have been nicer, cleaner or more thoughtfully arranged. Beautiful landscaping frames this darling house. We were six adults and one child. Comfortable beds and blackout curtains will give you good rest after exploring this gorgeous area.

We came for a sisters trip and everyone had a comfortable and cozy bed- so comfy that I forgot to check out what kind of mattress it was before I left! Neighborhood was safe and the house had everything we needed. We went hiking, took the ferry to Canada and checked out the Twilight festival (it’s under an hour drive, and knew the food and central location of Port Angeles would be better than Forks). For anyone going and wanting the best of both worlds PA is the place to stay!

We brought my father-in-law who has been using a walker recently and the place had wide hallways and doorways. It's not ADA, and we didn't look for that, but it worked very well.Loved the large kitchen, living/dining area. Bedrooms were surprisingly large for an what seemed like an older house that was fixed up. Beautiful yard.Wonderful views! We were very content and happy with our choice to stay there. Perfect Family Getaway With Stunning Views and Thoughtful Hosts

We had an incredible stay at this VRBO property! The hosts were exceptionally friendly and considerate, making sure everything was thoughtfully prepared for our visit. While we didn’t have kids with us, this place would be perfect for families of all ages. The views were breathtaking, and the location was ideal – within walking distance to plenty of attractions. We used it as our home base for exploring Olympic National Park, and it was the perfect spot. The game room was a great touch, providing a fun way for us to connect after a day of adventure. To top it off, we were greeted by deer right upon arrival! It’s a place we’d definitely love to return to.

The home was pristine, the kitchen was incredibly well equipped, and the visitor's center for Olympic National Park was literally just a few minutes drive away. The garden was beautiful during our late August stay, and the views of ships coming into the Salish Sea was very cool. As a mom of three kids ranging from 3 to 13, the best thing about the house was how well equipped it was for kids. There were indoor and outdoor games for all ages. We forgot our baby carrier hiking backpack but were able to borrow the one provided at the house, which saved our hiking plans. All four adults kept commenting on how it was the best equipped vacation home we've ever stayed in. All in all, a completely lovely stay!

My family of six adults stayed here and had a lovely time. It is clear that the hosts care about the property and the comfort of the guests. Everything you can need, and things you didn't think about, are all provided amd labeled - and you cant beat the location in terms of ease to both downtown port angelas and the olympic national park. We would stay here again in a heartbeat, and I dont say that about most VRBO's

I’m a longtime vacation rental host in Seattle, Port Townsend and Port Angeles. I grew up in Port Townsend and was born in Australia. Besides the PNW I’ve also lived in Montreal, Vermont, and Belgium. My home is currently on the Olympic Peninsula with my Dutch husband and two adorable
Daughters. I love hosting people from all over the world, and as an experienced traveler, I pride myself on having well stocked homes that let you relax.

The Civic neighborhood, is a quiet area in a central location. I wanted to live close to Peninsula College and the arts facilities as well as the best playground for my young daughters. We enjoy walking everywhere and the gorgeous water view to Canada.

My first impression of our house when we walked in was…happy! The bright colors and warm light in this mid century home, led us to fall in love. When I decorated the house, I tried to highlight this feeling of joy and fun with a record player, shuffleboard table, garden furniture, and a wood burning fireplace.
