Tropical Retreat en El Cortecito, a Caribbean beach condo!

"The best way to learn about a country is from its people". This quote has reshaped travelling for me and I hope to do the same for our guests. All inclusive resorts are nice, with unlimited drinks and food choices. But to visit a country and live amongst its citizens, learning about the culture first hand, is priceless. Our condo, located in El Cortecito, allows our guests to experience beautiful Punta Cana while being walking distance to everything, including the beach and restaurants!

Our guests also have the option of ordering pre-made meals for the duration of their stay! This service is offered by local chef, Charlensky. This service is provided by a separate third party.

The Area:
Our condo is located in the Rosa Hermosa complex in El Cortecito, Punta Cana. The closest beach, Playa de Schnure, is only a 10 minute walk away! Our condo is centrally located and there's a wide variety of restaurant, bars and shops just minutes away, all within walking distance. El Cortecito is also very safe, perfect for families!

The Complex:
Rosa Hermosa has 24 hour security and secured entry. The front guards are always available to answer any questions you may have or provide any assistance you may need. The complex has lush tropical landscaping with a large and beautiful pool, lounge chairs and tables and a covered outdoor dining area with a gas bbq. These amenities are all available for guest use daily until 10 pm. We ask our guests to be considerate when enjoying the grounds, especially at night.

The Condo:
We remodelled our retreat to be able to provide our guests with a stylish getaway with all the creature comforts needed to truly unwind in paradise! Tropical Retreat sleeps 4 adults in 2 king beds and we have 2 full bathrooms. The kitchen has brand new appliances and we also have an in-suite washer and dryer. There is a smart TV in the living room but we do have cable and fibre optics wi-fi. Each bedroom has a private balcony and the main balcony off the spacious living room has seating as well as a cart that guest can use to bring the provided beach accessories (lounge chairs with shade, cooler, beach blanket and towels) to the beach. All linens, towels and pillows are provided.

**N.B. Electricity is capped at approximately 40 kWh/day. Please be conscientious of electrical usage to avoid disconnection.**

Guest access
The guest will need to walk through the reception and show ID to the guards to be allowed into the complex. The condo itself has an electronic front door lock.

Other things to note
Please be aware that we do have neighbours who reside full time in the complex. We ask that guests keep the noise to a minimum after 10 pm and be respectful to the residents, guards and other guests.

In preparation for your upcoming stay, we wish to inform you about an important aspect of your booking related to utility management. The nightly rate includes hydro usage up to 40 kWh per day.

Upon your arrival, we will conduct a hydro meter reading, which will be recorded again after your departure. This process is crucial, given that hydroelectric costs in Punta Cana can be significant. It enables us to accurately assess energy usage during your stay, ensuring that charges are in line with the daily allotment of 40kWh. Should there be any excess usage due following this evaluation, it will be billed according to the recorded usage, at the rate set by CEPM, the local power company.
