Baker Bay Retreat: Waterfront Cottage With Outdoor Soaking Tub and Private Pier

Fully renovated in 2021, the Audubon Cottage at Baker Bay Retreat is is the perfect waterfront getaway for someone looking to escape, relax and restore. Nestled in a private cove on the Peninsula, just than a mile from Cape Disappointment State Park and a short drive from Long Beach.

On the main level in the kitchen you'll find all of your morning essentials: coffee beans, coffee grinder, teas, hot cocoa and Chemex as well as drip brew; and a table for two. For cooking we provide an efficiency kitchen with 2-burner Cuisinart induction cook top, Breville Smart Oven and under counter refrigerator. On the main deck is an outdoor soaking tub for two; robes and bath salts included. A small half bath is included on this floor.
The single queen bedroom is located upstairs and has a deck with chairs overlooking the bay. The master bath includes large shower, hair dryer, shampoo and conditioner. The neighboring Heron House is also located at Baker Bay Retreat. Book book accommodations and have the entire private cove and pier to yourself!

We had the most relaxing and wonderful time. I loved the attention to detail the host put into our visit. She is lovely to interact with and very punctual. The house was very clean and smelled like a fancy hotel. We will defiantly be back!

Tranquil, quiet and charming home right on the water. We saw two deers on our first night. The home is exceptionally clean and the host is just the kindest. Surprising us with a personalized note and flowers for our anniversary. The outdoor bathtub is perfect for soaking together, the shower large and water pressure was perfect. We had the most magical time. Definitely coming back with the kids once the larger home is complete to share the experience with them.

Amazing Stay

My wife and I had an amazing stay here. It was incredibly relaxing and just what we were hoping for. The owner was so easy to communicate with and responsive when I had a question. One of my favorite parts was the incredible craftsmanship, design, and attention to detail inside the house. I’m kind of a nerd about that stuff and it just made our stay that much more enjoyable knowing you’re staying in a place that’s thoughtfully built and taken care of instead of just a shack for someone to make money off of. I plan on booking this place again when we visit again and would highly recommend it to anyone.
