Chalet confortable w / piscine dans pratique Highland Park!

Maison d'hôtes centrale et boisée et privée avec accès facile à tous les quartiers d'Austin! Notre studio confortable est situé dans un petit cul-de-sac dans le quartier de Highland Park West, à seulement 8 km du centre-ville d'Austin. Nous sommes à quelques pas d'un café / boulangerie, d'une librairie, d'une salle de sport, d'un lieu de massage génial, d'un parc, d'une épicerie, de centres commerciaux et de quelques restaurants.

Le chalet est à travers l'allée de notre maison principale, et il y a beaucoup de places de stationnement dans la rue. Nous avons une piscine d'eau salée, un hamac et beaucoup d'ombre dans la cour arrière!

Le studio comprend un lit queen-size, une télévision avec antenne et un Roku avec les applications Netflix, Amazon, HBO, etc. Il y a une unité de fenêtre a / c, chauffage et une cheminée électrique.

La salle de bain est petite mais contient tout le nécessaire, ainsi que des articles de toilette et un sèche-cheveux. Il y a aussi deux peignoirs d'hôtel confortables, des serviettes de bain et des serviettes de plage (pour la piscine).

Il n’ya pas de cuisine complète (pas de lave-vaisselle ni d’évier), mais un mini-réfrigérateur avec congélateur, un four micro-ondes, un grille-pain / four grille-pain, un keurig, de la vaisselle et des ustensiles. Instacart et Favor livrent également ici, ce qui est très pratique. Nous vous proposons quelques éléments pour vous aider à démarrer: papier toilette, serviettes en papier, bouteilles d'eau et sacs à ordures.

Les clients sont invités à utiliser la cour arrière (porche, piscine, etc.). La cour arrière est clôturée pour nos chiens, nous exigeons donc que les deux portes arrière soient fermées en tout temps.

Michelle was teriffic and the accommodations included every possible entertainment option. It is only appropriate for one or two people, and they better be best buds. Perfect for a comfortable quick get away!

Enjoyed our stay

We really enjoyed our stay and sitting out in the backyard enjoying the lovely Texas weather and scenery. The location was amazing. Easy to get downtown and come back. It was well stocked with water, and Michelle left us a bottle of wine to enjoy as well. Michelle was an amazing house. The communication was nothing short of spectacular. We will be back again.

Cozy Cottage

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay in this sweet & cozy cottage. It was the perfect size for just the two of us. It was clean & peaceful and was stocked with all the essentials needed. It was especially sweet of Michelle to leave us a nice bottle of wine. It was a nice suprise to come back to outside our door after a long day of walking.

Great Place to Stay - but Not Stay (i.e. Hangout)

The apartment is great as a place to stay, but not hangout there like in a Hotel. With 1 bed, I don't see it as a place to bring kids or even spend time at the pool (while nice to have, did not seem to be a place to just hangout and enjoy). Facilities are good (fridge, coffee, microwave, etc.) to get you going in the morning - and the area is great (coffee shops, grocery store, etc. - but should be viewed as more of a good place to sleep. ron from kansas

1. Host never communicated with me. Now VRBO IS ignoring me. 2. The property was the worst ever. Dilapidated. Messy, cluttered and filthy. 3. I gotta sue to get my money. I stayed one night the door was unsecured. Never Again. Don't walk Run guys!

As advertised

Stayed here on my own instead of paying similar for hotel room, and it was perfect for that. Definitely cozy but bed was comfy, neighborhood was nice and host was responsive during stay. Cold (upper 30s to low 40s) at night, so I had to use the provided plug-in heaters to warm it up a bit. Overall good experience. Would come back if it was just me.

Very cozy and low-cost option for Austin

My husband and I stayed in this property for our recent honeymoon to Austin. Overall, we enjoyed the property. It was in a very nice neighborhood, and we felt safe walking to different areas nearby. There are quite a few things very near to do; however, there were also a few bus stops very close for those that wish to travel to other parts of the city since this is a more residential/quiet area. We used a combination of the bus and ride-shares to get around. I know the description tells you the square footage and mentions it is a small place, but prepare yourself because 300 sq ft is less space than you think. Space wasn't really an issue for us though since we spent most of our time exploring the city. There was still a good bit of space for storage, as well as the essentials we needed. We did spend one day inside watching tv due to very bad weather, and although the bed looks nice and is decent sized, it is not the most comfortable. Michelle was pleasant to deal with and checked to see if we needed anything. We thought this place was an awesome value for the cost, and we would definitely stay here again once it is warm enough to use the pool!
