Christmas in the Marsh
A wonderful time was had by all. The elevator is exactly what we needed to bring this happy reunion to fruition. Without it, we wouldn’t have been able to gather with our wheelchair bound patriarch. The lodge was perfect. Well stocked with pots and pans for cooking our Christmas Eve étouffée and Christmas Gumbeaux. Shellie and Joey were very helpful and responsive. We hope to do this again in the not too distant future!

Perfect getaway in the marshes
We stayed two nights with a party of 8 friends. The property is perfect for such a large group, consisting of four almost identical large bedrooms each with a queen and single bed and an ensuite. There is a large well equipped kitchen and the fridge was stocked with cold drinks when we arrived. Thanks to the mosquito screens the large balcony is perfect to sit outside whilst overlooking the marshes.
Shellie and Joey are great hosts. Shellie cooked us a lovely cajun meal and Joey took us into the marshes with the air boat.

Better than we could have imagined
We had a great time at the Miller Green Lodge. The Lodge was even nicer than the pics. The property was beautiful. The caretakers were super friendly and accommodating. They took us out on the airboat. They took my son and his friend fishing. They set us up to go crabbing. And they set us up for a crab boil. The kids had a great time driving around the property and checking everything out. We booked this as a "covid vacation". It far exceeded our expectations. We are absolutely going back.

Husbands 50th Birthday
Renting this property for my husbands 50th birthday has probably been one of the best things I’ve ever done for him and his friends. There were 9 of them and they haven’t shut up yet!!!! They said the property was awesome and the wildlife was abundant.
Joey and Shellie went over and above to show the group an excellent time while on the property. The guys said it was a trip they will never forget. Joey and Shellie are like family now and we appreciate everything that they did during their stay!

Adult family get together
The property was as pictured - you are not always sure that will be the case. There is marsh as far as the eye can see, very remote. However, we just wanted to be together and the lodge was perfect for our family group of ten - clean, very comfortable and well supplied. On site property managers responded within 5 minutes when I alerted them to the fact that the power had gone out during the night (stormy) and the backup generator had not started automatically, however they did not hover, nor did we see them unless we called. We especially enjoyed the elevated screened in porch - sitting out there watching the sunrise with our morning coffee in hand or eating dessert during sunset, listening to the birds and bugs and watching the alligators from our safe perch. It was everything we had hoped for.

Friends Trip
The lodge was amazing! We had 4 adult couples and we each had our own bedroom and master bath. The great room, kitchen and dining area all in the middle made a great community area. Shellie cooked us a wonderful meal that was waiting for us upon our arrival. We thoroughly enjoyed the property, getting up early to watch the sunrise, bird watching, nature photography, hunting, boating...you name it! Surface Manager Joey made sure we were able to do all we wanted. He was an incredible guide and he and his staff took great care of us. We will be back many times in the future!

Friends & Family Crabbing Trip
We wanted a relaxing getaway and crabbing trip and Miller-Green Lodge exceeded our expectations!! The lodge was beautiful, well stocked and perfect for our versatile group…our guests ranged from 83-12 years old!! The crabbing and fishy FB was amazing and managers so helpful

AMAZING!
We had an amazing stay at this lovely camp. The house, the swamp, the whole atmosphere was amazing. We enjoyed relaxing, cooking, crabbing, fishing, and savoring the beautiful nature. We will certainly be returning!

Absolutely amazing!
We are Louisiana locals-and a family of fisherman. We wanted a family getaway to catch some crabs and relax. Let me tell you, the property is just beautiful! The wildlife is amazing and so many things to do. We made the best memories. Drinking coffee on the screened porch when the sun came up and playing cards when the sun went down- and boucoup crabbing and fishing in between. This place is remote and that’s one of the best parts- you get to get away from everything. The lodge accommodates a large family without having to be on top of one another. The place is well stocked- just bring your clothes, sunscreen, appetite, and awe of nature. Great bird watching. Couldn’t count the alligators! We will be back several times a year. And Joey and Shellie- such nice and genuine people who are now like family.

Great, secluded getaway.
Beautiful, secluded location. Property managers were great people who were there if we needed anything. Lodge was even better than the pictures show. Great area to hunt or fish from. Lots of wildlife around. Couldn’t ask for a better weekend.

Amazing property!
Came here for a bachelor party just to get away from the city. The property is beautiful and there is plenty of wildlife to check out. The house is very nice and was very comfortable for our group of 8 to sleep. Host was very responsive and quickly helped with any of our needs and questions. Plenty of land to explore, we didn’t even get to all of it!

Beautiful Relaxing Retreat
This beautiful property was built for hunting, but offers so much more! It’s isolated and very peaceful yet teaming with wildlife. Joey and the hands made sure that we had everything we needed, helped us fish, and took us on a great airboat tour. They offered a lot of other activities including a boat ride in White Lake, ATVs, and frogging, but we mostly just enjoyed the peace and quiet. Quentin was extremely accommodating to our groups needs. He was extremely responsive and understanding. We had a wonderful experience all around.
Our stay was fantastic and we will definitely look for the opportunity to get back!
