There were spiders and ants everywhere except no ants in the kitchen. Ants crawled on one of my daughters and grandsons while they were in bed. The kitchen needed more pans for cooking.

There was no wifi on the home which was connected to the a/c so the a/c was out. The maintenance guy was great but did not show up until almost 9pm. We couldn't even leave for dinner until he was done. Was told we would get a new modem the next day, but never did. Ask the call service to have some one reach out to me bc the service number was the only number i had. Never heard from anyone. House was very clean and beautiful, but no wifi limited everything. The house key would only unlock the house. So the house stayed unlocked all weekend

The property was clean and comfortable. The location was perfect. The refrigerator had an error code E15 so we could not adjust temperature. The garbage disposal was not working. We had everything we needed except laundry detergent.

Great potential but fell short.

The location. The neighbor. The possibilities were all there but the reality was not what we paid for. The stern response that I got on the phone gave me the impression that I was SOL.

Retreat away from it all!

The house is new and modern with a wonderful layout. we brought our bikes and the kids electric go kart and scooter. they loved being able to drive through the neighborhood and through the tunnel that went under the main hwy to the beach. perfect place to stay for a family! Also, the neighborhood pool is caddy corner to the house. Easy to get to. I never set foot over there but my wife and kids did and they thought it was wonderful. We usually stay close to all the attractions but this was perfect because the beach was not crowded at all and my family just focused on spending time with each other. to give you a reference we got there on July 5 right after the fourth. A well stocked dollar general is only 12 minutes up the road and galveston sea wall area is 25 minutes from the house. There is a small grocery store only 3 minutes away but prices are high so we only used it get ice cream and some cooking oil! I know its a pretty new listing so certain amenities will be added over time but you might want to bring a good cooking pan because their pots and pans were minimal and of the dollar store variety. also, no coffee pot but they do have a keurig. lastly, there is a small propane grill on the bottom level which was nice. Loved our stay and would recommend it to anyone!

Could have been so much better but.

Driving up to the house it looked very appealing. But
1.The key to get in wasn’t in the lock box it was in the door. (unlocked). 2. The 1/2 bath toilet water was running over the floor. (It never worked while we where there ) 7 of us .3.out of 4 remotes only 1 had batteries. (Fans and TV’s)4. No outdoor shower as advertised. it (is built for one but no shower valve , handles or shower head )5. The battery operated trash can didn’t have its 4 batteries. 6.The big outdoor trash can was half full when we got there . ( we stayed 4 nights and used a neighbor’s can when needed)7. Because of the E 15 error message on the refrigerator we couldn’t adjust the temperature.8. Gross black hair ball in the master bath shower soap nich. ( it looked as if it was cleaned from the drain and forgotten )9. On one of the many phone/text messages I had the first evening I was told to ck all the closets and the attic spaces to be sure no one was hiding out . (for our safety) To be fair . It’s a very new listing in a great location with pool access, not more than 4 min to the beach that can be driven on . In a quiet neighborhood that is kept up nicely. Far enough out of town but close enough to spend one day at Moody Garden another day at Schlitterbahn and the third day on the beach. After talking to management and explaining that we paid the asking price but did not get in return what we were promised to be heard nothing back.

In some ways more like “glam ping” than staying in a home. Beautiful community and nice new property but, some conveniences have been forgotten. No hooks or towel wracks in any of the bathrooms. No mirrors outside the bathrooms. This can be an issue when a full house is trying to get ready to go. No instructions or on sight information about use of appliances amenities and such. We had to find out the hard way it can take an all-wheel drive to get onto the beach access at 36. People were getting stuck in the sand. The kitchen cabinets had lots of dirty dishes in them. This wasn’t just us being picky, when there are coffee cups with dry drips down the side and plates with grit stuck to them. We ended up washing all the dishes before use. If you want guests to wash dishes by hand so they don’t have to wait for a 1.5 to 2 hour dishwasher cycle, it would be nice to have a small dish drainer. A can opener, grill utensils, and extra trash bags would have been very helpful. A shower caddy in the upstairs shower stall would have kept me from having to set my soap and shampoos on the floor of the shower stall. There is no tv remote in the upstairs bedroom but the one from the living room works up there too. Once again, the property was very nice! All of the things I bring up above are really just set up issues. The only maintenance problem was the garbage disposal that needs attention. It’s jammed and popped the circuit when turned on. Nice pool! Roomy and comfortable! Nice decks
