Charming Rustic Family House w/ Private Pool

Set in secluded grounds of 7Ha near the lively picturesque village, St Alvere, This airy wooden house was built by journalist couple, Allan & Jackie Reditt and reflects their lifetime travel around the globe. It remains a French home away from home for family & friends. The house comprises a spacious open-plan living/dining area with adjoining kitchen giving onto a large terrace, grounds leading down to pool and woodlands. A magical place full of peace and nature, 8 min walk to the local village.


The space

-The whole property (house, veranda, pool, lands) are exclusively yours for the duration of your stay
-Open plan living/dining/kitchen facing the terrace and garden
-Fully equipped kitchen with induction stove, traditional oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, Nespresso coffee machine, kettle, toaster, pots & pans, crockery, and everything you need to prepare your meals
-From the kitchen, direct access to the outdoor 8 seater table to sit al fresco for breakfast, lunch, and unforgettable summer evenings
-Large pantry and dedicated laundry area
-On the ground floor you will also find 2 bedrooms with 160x200cm beds, a complete bathroom (with walk in shower, bath tub, toilet, bidet and double sink) and a hallway with a guest toilet.

Going up the stairs you'll get to:
-The upper hallway with authentic vintage kilim carpets from Kilimanjaro, and libraries with ancient books
-2 attic double bedrooms, one of them with a King size bed and a second one with 3 single beds, ideal for kids
-A separate toilet, and a bathroom with bathtub and sink

Other things to note
-Every Saturday a pool maintenance service takes place between 9am and 10am
-For stays longer than a week, a 3 hours weekly cleaning is included in the price,
-We provide bedsheets, towels, pillows, blankets, and pool towels
-We will request a 300€ refundable deposit per stay, that will be immediately return to your account if no damage, and if the property is left in reasonable cleaning and orderly conditions
-We love dogs and are happy to host them, but please do not allow them on couches and beds
-Please note that the pool will remain closed from October to May
