Short Stay

Loved our stay at Eric and Jason’s basement level apartment in DC. Great apartment in a convenient location in a quaint neighborhood.

Great Location and responsive hosts!

The location was great--4 blocks to Union Station, and close to Eastern Market and the Capitol! Hosts were very helpful and responsive. I would definitely recommend staying here! Loved having the combined washer/dryer.

Close to Smithsonian

Close and clean apartment close to the Smithsonian and White House. Bed comfortable. Free parking on apartment street with parking pass. Several good places to eat nearby. Homeowners quickly respond to questions. Great place to stay in Washington, DC.

Cute Historic neighborhood

We were lucky that our cherry blossom timing was on, lucky to rent this charmer as well. Great location, no street noise and just a walk or uber from anywhere. Nice not to have to run out for coffee too, one of several nice touches provided. Hosts live onsite and are quick to respond and helpful. Look forward to our next visit!

Communication with Eric and Jason was excellent! We had everything we needed - and so convenient to everything we wanted to do. The teens got the couches in the living room to sleep, not sure I would put an adult on the futon though, my full-size teen wasnt that comfortable (obviously she did fine!)

Great for a young tourist family in DC

Jason and Eric's basement apartment at 611 Massachusetts was just what we were looking for our family with 3 young children. Convenient for our desire to enjoy the city without using a car/taxi/uber. Easy walk to metro stops at Eastern Market, Union Station or the H-Street trolley when we needed to go beyond walking distance. The apartment is furnished comfortably, clean and convenient. Jason and Eric were accommodating and always responsive. I hope it's available for our next trip to the City.

Great location

Excellent communication with Eric and helpful hints for the area. The location was great, walking distance to capitol and only mile to Smithsonian, but if this was too far, buses readily available. Train stations close by, about a 15 minute walk. Didn't use lyft but saw alot of people doing this. Apartment was great. We slept in bedroom, very comfortable. Kids and sister in law slept in living room. Futon and a futon like couch not especially comfortable but worked fine for them.

Ce fut un excellent séjour pour nous! Nous sommes très satisfaits!

Excellent! Ce fut pour nous un très beau moment! Nous avons séjourné dans cet appartement pour 3 nuits en famille avec nos trois enfants. La température extérieure était très chaude et nous avons apprécié le confort de l’air climatisé à l’intérieur de l’appartement. Nous avons très bien dormi, il n’y avait aucun bruit dérangeant. Le jogging matinal était magnifique, les rues résidentielles avoisinantes sont de toute beauté et nous pouvions aussi aller sur the Mall. Nous sommes allés au Whole Foods, au Trader Joes et au Eastern Market en marchant. C’était parfait! Nous avons aussi marché pour aller sur the Mall, aux musées et à la maison Blanche. La ville est très propre et nous retournerions volontiers dans cet appartement de Washington. David

Absolute great location and setup at this property! A few items could be updated though such as the bedroom sheets and the frying pan (needed a ton of cooking spray to make it non-sticking). Great communication from the owner while I had issues using the VRBO app from The beginning.

We stayed for a week, and it was a perfect spot for us. We had to reschedule before we could visit, and the owner was wonderfully accommodating. He replied to questions quickly and with great courtesy. We were so pleased with our experience! Thank you!

Close to the action on Capitol Hill!

Very close to the Capitol, a nice walk to eateries and/ or groceries. Nicely stocked kitchen but tight on room for more than 4. Our teenage grandchildren did fine in the living area. A bonus was being near enough to the Supreme Court building when our new justice was being sworn in…and watching the demonstration outside.

Great getaway in Washington DC

This was a great property for our family of four! It was walking distance to the National Mall as well as several meal options including two grocery stores. Everything was clean and the host, Eric, was quick to respond to any question we had. The bathroom is small but easily met our needs. This location is in a quiet section of Capitol Hill and was a great jumping off point for adventures around the city. We would definitely stay there again!

Perfect Location!

We loved staying here. It was a 15 minute walk to Capital Hill and the Mall. Easy street parking. 10-15 walk to restaurants. The unit was exactly as advertised and was very safe and clean. There were some lovely touches to make us feel welcome. Highly recommend.

Charming Apartment

Our family loved our stay in this rowhouse basement apartment. The neighborhood is safe, clean, quiet and just a few blocks to the Capital. Also within walking distance are two metro train stations. (about a 10 minute walk) Eric was quick to respond and did a great job answering any questions we had. He even gave suggestions for restaurants. I would definitely stay here again.

Just right

The place was as described in a very good way. Two adults and three teenagers worked very well. Proximity to the Capitol and mall were great. Very walkable, safe neighborhood in every direction. Easy access in and out of apartment. Nice small park down the street. Eastern Market was a pleasant walk away. We appreciate the quality of space we used and couldn't have expected more from it.

Weekend in DC

A perfect spot for our short stay in DC. Great communication with the unit owner, including restaurant recommendations and important parking info. Well appointed apartment and very comfortable for our family of three.
