YOSEMITE RESERVATIONS:
Depending on travel dates, reservations with recreation. gov may be required to enter the national parks. Any guests planning to visit the national parks during their travels are advised to visit nps .gov for the most accurate updates and requirements regarding traveling to the national parks. This includes reservation requirements, permit requirements, vehicle requirements, and road closures or traffic patterns.

--We have great internet! We are in a rural mountain community, internet occasionally goes out. I will message you if there is a planned outage. These outages usually only last 30 minutes to 3 hours. We have a DVD player and board games to pass the time. Plus, it’s a great time to connect with the outdoors!

-The power also can randomly go out during winter storms or heatwaves. Again I will notify you, but please keep this in mind.

-Chains for your vehicle may be required to drive in the area in the winter and spring months.

-Travel Insurance is provided as an option during the checkout process. Please note that as much as we'd like to, we cannot protect your trip from flight delays, illnesses, weather, job loss, or other circumstances that may prevent you from making your trip.

-We STRONGLY suggest purchasing some type of Travel Insurance so that you may protect your vacation investment from unforeseen circumstances that may prevent you from making your trip. It's a nominal cost that can absolutely pay off!

-Please note that this property is located in the Sierra Nevada Mountain Range, a fabulous escape into nature. Being in this amazing, natural environment means you might encounter some of our natural "residents", such as ants, spiders, insects, mice and cobwebs.

-While we have regularly scheduled pest control and professional cleaners that help to minimize these occurrences, they are a part of the mountain experience. Please let us know if you meet any of these during your stay. We would like to address them to give you a comfortable stay.
