Escape to a truly one-of-a-kind Northern Michigan retreat set on 180 breathtaking acres of rolling vineyards and open countryside, just 4 miles north of Leland. This peaceful property offers complete privacy and space to unwind—far removed from the hustle and bustle of town—while still being close enough to enjoy everything the area has to offer.

Surrounded by rows of vineyards and wide-open skies, the setting is serene, scenic, and unmistakably special. Friendly Scottish Highland cows roam the property, adding a charming, pastoral touch that guests of all ages will love. Whether you’re strolling the grounds, enjoying a quiet morning coffee, or watching the sunset over the vines, this is a place designed for slowing down and reconnecting with nature.

The property offers a rare sense of seclusion and tranquility, making it ideal for those seeking rest, inspiration, or a peaceful getaway. Nights are quiet and star-filled, mornings are calm and refreshing, and days can be spent exploring nearby Lake Michigan beaches, Fishtown in Leland, and the surrounding Leelanau Peninsula—all just a short drive away.

Perfect for couples, families, or friends looking for a memorable countryside escape, this vineyard retreat combines natural beauty, privacy, and authentic Northern Michigan charm in an unforgettable setting.

The Granary has three bedrooms and a pull out couch in the living room. The two upstairs rooms have queen beds and the main floor bedroom has two twin beds. This home is great for a small family or an intimate group of friends. (Check out the BIG house at NorthFarm that sleeps 14!) NorthFarm is an active farmstead with rolling vineyards, Scottish Highlander cows, chickens, a turn of the century barn and another main farmhouse on the property! When booking the Granary, guests get all the advantages of the peaceful and serene farm, with out the expense of booking the big house!

There are two dedicated parking spaces right in front of the Granary. Additional parking could be available upon request.

A rental agreement is required and will be emailed after booking.

Stunning property on a gorgeous piece of land. Offers both the peace and quiet of the country alongside the amenities of small town Americana. Lots of room to wander, stretch your legs and enjoy the sweetest farm animals. Every little detail has been thought of, including an herb garden for guests to partake, any kitchen utensil you could think of and the softest bedding. 1,000,000 stars out of five! Looking forward to our next visit.

Our stay in the granary for a week in August was perfection. The space is beautiful,comfortable and well equipped. The location is on a quiet dead end road. The vineyards made for an idyllic backdrop. Communication was clear, timely and friendly. We will definitely stay here next summer when we visit the county.

This home exceeded our expectations. Very clean and comfortable. Shortly after we arrived we were welcomed with fresh eggs and offered a tour of the property. We got to see baby pigs, highland cows , chickens and more. Management lives on the property and super friendly. Good location. Remote , but easy access to Suttons Bay.
