Everything about our stay was wonderful, from the easy, secure parking to the smooth check-in process, incredible location, and amazing views of the water and surrounding area. Adam and his team were very accommodating and made everything simple for us. The property itself is absolutely gorgeous and right in the heart of Little Italy, which is hard to beat. We had a great stay and will definitely be back!

Just an awesome place with an amazing host who walked us through everything and was readily available to help us out with whatever we needed. True example of exceptional customer service while providing an oasis that pictures won’t do justice for. Highly recommend!

Such an amazing property located in the heart of Little Italy. The host was extremely kind and very responsive, both before and during our stay. The space was clean and spacious, with gorgeous views of the San Diego Skyline and waterfront. Great patio space with beautiful indoor outdoor living. Couldn't recommend this host & home enough!

Unfortunately, the pictures of the property were better than the vrbo. We were extremely disappointed for the HUGE amount of money we paid. Honestly, we were going to try and move to a hotel, but all the rooms were booked because of the holiday weekend. The view was amazing, but the house was dirty. The furniture was stained and falling apart. Curtains were half off the tracks that we had to fix in order to try and get some sleep. There weren't enough curtains in the bedroom to cover the windows and were basically sheer so all the light came in all night making it hard to sleep. The downstairs bedroom was dark, but the bed was not big enough for 2 adults to sleep in comfortably. There was stuff in the fridge which was dirty, you couldn't cook because the cutting knives were dirty and rusted, and there was moldy pizza in the oven which had been there for quite some time. The garage was EXTREMELY tough to maneuver as well which we weren't expecting. Adam was nice and when told about the pizza said he'd send his cleaning lady back over, but with all the other things wrong it would have been too much and been very inconvenient for us. We've stayed in a lot of VRBO's and paid far l less that were immaculate, so this was very, very disheartening. I HATE writing bad reviews but this one needed to be done for those who might be thinking of paying a lot of money so they know what to expect.

House was in complete disarray. It’s basically a storage unit. We had to wait 1 1/2hrs while the place was being finished to “look good”. We had to use VRBO CARE to get another booking. We lost a day of hour vacation because of this.

If you look at our other reviews, this is the first review that wasn’t a 10/10. The photos shown are of private storage and utility areas, not the 9,000-square-foot penthouse itself. After receiving the feedback, we even cleaned and organized those areas despite them not being guest spaces. We encourage future guests to read our other reviews, which better reflect the experience the vast majority of our guests have had. 🙂
