The lodging was good, a well refurbished “country” home. It had all the modern comforts needed. We appreciated the grassy area and lovely gardens where our dog could run and play. It was a peaceful place to stay. The owner is very friendly and accommodating. She is quite attentive; it was fine for us but some might feel their privacy/independence a little jeopardized.The location is somewhat isolated but we found a “self-tour” of some local waterfalls to visit in the area. That was nice.

This room in the country was exactly what I needed while attending a wedding in the area.Host Kathie was very personable, met me at check in to show me around. She went above and beyond to ensure everything was just right.I will definitely be booking this sweet place in the future if the need arises.

Katie welcomed us right away.Showed us around the place.Her hospitality was so pleasant and appreciated. Kathie is one of those sweet, huggable people! We weren't able to check in until after 9pm, but she was so kind and accommodating, we felt as if we were staying with a family member Unfortunately we didn't get to spend any time enjoying the lovely setting, as we were gone all day for a reunion. We were very comfortable and hope we get the chance to come back!

We were so pleased with our stay! A beautiful little cottage with everything you need. Everything is in perfect working order and extremely clean. The retro appliances and fixtures were really neat - I have not seen such things since the 1970s-80s. But they are all in mint condition. Really cute. Kathie met us on check in and made us feel really welcome. Her garden and the surroundings are stunning!!Thank you for a great stay. I strongly recommend this rental - you will not be disappointed. The only complaint I have is that the mattress was too soft for me - but my wife was fine, so tastes vary…

My wife and I travel a lot with our little dachshund. This property is one of the nicest private offerings we have ever experienced. The owner has created a perfectly lovely and cozy little apartment for two. It is completely stocked and meticulously well-organized. The owner is also gracious and very flexible. An ideal place to stay.
