New! Luxury ski-in/ ski-out home on Little Thunder Run with hot tub

Welcome to Lone Peak Sanctuary, a one-of-a-kind retreat with unobstructed views of Big Sky's iconic Lone Peak from nearly every room. This ski-in/ ski-out luxury home offers four bedrooms, four and a half bathrooms, a three-car garage, and two distinct living areas, all wrapped in refined stonework that blends mountain-modern design with warmth and elegance.

As you enter the home, you are greeted with an open-concept living area with vaulted ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows showcasing the incredible views of Lone Peak. You immediately walk into the living room, where you have an L-shaped sofa and two cozy chairs perfect for relaxing in front of the fire and watching a movie. Just off the living room is a dining area with seating for six and a built-in wine fridge, perfect for evening meals or entertaining. Large sliding glass doors lead directly to a covered patio with a private hot tub and a grill, making it easy to enjoy the outdoors year-round. Out on the patio, you have your very own private hot tub to enjoy all year long and a grill to use during your stay. Next, step into the kitchen where you have beautiful dark wood cabinets, a unique backsplash, and a large island with bar seating for two that makes this space warm and inviting. The kitchen has all updated appliances with a large pass-through window. You also have a full-size mud room/ laundry room and a half-bathroom. This area offers plenty of space for storing gear after a day on the slopes or trails.

The main level also features two bedrooms, both with en-suite bathrooms. The spacious primary bedroom has a king-size bed, a fireplace, a TV, and patio access. The en-suite features dual vanities, a standing shower, and a soaking tub where you can enjoy the views of Lone Peak. The second bedroom on this level also features a king-size bed and an en-suite with a standing shower.

Head upstairs and you have two more bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a secondary living area. The first bedroom has a king-size bed, TV, views of Lone Peak, and an en-suite bathroom that has a standing shower. The second bedroom is perfect for the children to share and features two twin-size bunk beds. The secondary living area features multiple seating areas perfect for enjoying a movie night. There is also a wet bar with shelves lined with board games. Both rooms are joined with a jack-and-jill bathroom with dual vanities and a standing shower.

Ski Access
** Please be aware when making your reservation that lift access in November, early December, and April might not be available. Please check the Big Sky Resort website for the most up-to-date lift schedule.

When Starting Your Ski Day: Follow Little Thunder run down to the Cascade run, and then through the ski tunnel that goes under the road. Then take the White Otter lift up and ski to the Big Sky Resort main base area. The easiest route is to make an immediate right onto the narrow traverse on the right side of White Wing to reach the base area.

When Ending Your Ski Day: The easiest way back home is to look for the four trail signs. Follow the sign for the designated trail to take you to the base of the Cascade lift. You will follow the main flow of the trail, but make sure to take the sharp left over the White Otter Access Bridge, then go straight down the hill following the trail under the White Otter lift. At the base of the White Otter lift, you will see the base of the Cascade lift. As you ski off Cascade, make a hard right to the Little Thunder lift, which will take you right back to 6 Little Thunder.

It was a great experience for us. The house was super clean and comfortable. We had great weather for skiing and enjoyed hanging out at the house in the evening. Getting to the mountain was very easy getting back was a little bit more difficult but doable.
