We had a wonderful time! Ms. Carol was gracious host and in fact we knew people in common. The home was like a home away from home. The welcoming bread and juices were well received. The home was well appointed. We missed mango season but we will be back. The porch and gardens were lovely. The location was great! Thanks again for a great stay!

Lovely home away from home.

The property was picturesque. The beautiful flowers and fruit trees aaded to the aesthetics. Carol the host and her partner was very attentive and kind.They made us feel like family. I would definately return to this property.

Beautiful and comfy

We had an enjoyable stay just what we needed. The property is in close proximity to mall, dining and supermarket. The area is very quiet which I like.

Beautiful Kgn 6 home

Fantastic location! Carol and her daughter were very welcoming and accommodating. Gated property with host family living on same property; gives that added feeling of security. Wrap around verandah is a delightful feature. Would most def stay here again!

Carol was a wonderful host who made us feel at home the minute we arrived. Beautiful property in a desirable neighborhood, with a variety of spaces for relaxing. We loved hanging out on the back patio with morning coffee. This is truly a lovely home away from home.

Comfortable luxury

Indeed pristine property with all needed amenities in a well kept comfortable setting. An attractive environmentally friendly yard with wrap around porch and outdoor seating ideal for couples or families. The host Ms. Carol is a warm lady with an engaging personality but allows complete privacy with comfort of knowing her assistance is nearby.

Absolutely Amazing

This property exceeded all expectations and was exactly as described—if not better. Ms. Carol was incredibly kind and accommodating. She greeted us with fresh fruit, and after noticing our love for mangoes, she thoughtfully brought us even more. The papaya was delicious. Her partner also provided us with fresh produce so we could cook, which was such a kind gesture.The ambiance of the property was truly enjoyable. The garden was peaceful and relaxing—an ideal spot to unwind. The kids especially loved the swing in the backyard. Inside, the décor was beautifully done, with charming Caribbean antique pieces adding a unique and personal touch.I would absolutely recommend this place to others. On the day I arrived, I faced an unexpected family situation that made me unsure if I could stay, but Ms. Carol was compassionate and worked with me to find a solution. Her warmth and hospitality made all the difference.

Jamaican Family Vacation

We had been planning a trip back to Jamaica to show our daughters where their dad grew up, and this included four days in Kingston. Carol was a fabulous host… making sure we knew about the country entry requirements, and answering all our questions with the traditional Jamaican hospitality we have come to love. The house had ample space for our group of ten, and was absolutely gorgeous. It is conveniently located to many attractions in Kingston including the Devon House and Bon Marley museum. It was a quick drive up into the blue mountains and we thoroughly enjoyed a night at the Kingston Dub Club and another evening at the Kingston Outdoor Market. Would highly recommend staying here for a large group. Beautiful grounds, wonderful host and well appointed. Bedrooms all were air conditioned, which allowed for a comfortable sleep. Carol was kind enough to provide fresh fruit, Hardo bread, guava jam and some juices upon our arrival. Truly thoughtful! I would absolutely stay here again.

Comforts of home

We have just returned from 12 nights at the property. The house was extremely clean and a very rare find to find such a large house with a yard and without staff, in Jamaica as a whole, let alone Kingston! The house was also very well located and within a 15 minute walk to restaurants and grocery stores. We walked to run errands with two children and never felt unsafe. The kitchen was extremely well equipped and we cooked all of our meals there with ease. Since we were staying during a pandemic, Ms. Carol was kind enough to do all of our grocery shopping for us and have the house stocked upon arrival. The house is adjacent to the owner’s house which we were a little concerned about because we like privacy but we quickly learned that Ms. Carol and Mr. Peter were the best neighbors ever! They cooked us a lovely meal and brought us fresh fruits from the garden and educated us on the plants. They were a knock away should we need anything but we never felt like our privacy was invaded. In fact, on days we didn’t see them we found ourselves missing them. The beds were comfortable, the AC in the bedrooms ran great and there were tons of options for sitting to read a good book in peace even while the kids played their video games. There were literally 5 tables to choose from to dine (inside or out) , a wraparound covered porch with several sitting areas and even a balcony off the master. We have been to Jamaica 10 times and stayed in a variety of places from hotels to all inclusive resorts to private houses with staff and this was by far the most comfortable we have been. We are already staying in touch with the sweet owners and could not recommend this house enough! If you are going to Kingston, this is an oasis in the midst of city life with beautiful lush fruit trees, exotic flowers and good people! We have been for the most part, fortunate, blessed, by the standards we’ve set, which have been maintained by our guests as we are hosting a short term rental facility adjacent to our own home. It has been primarily, a positive experience, even forming bonds of friendship. We try to anticipate and facilitate without being intrusive. WhatsApp has made communication so much easier without the need for face to face, but essentially, we are people lovers. Christina and her lovely family is another great experience, probably even more so than others. From our very first phone conversation, I concluded, this sounds positive . It never wavered. Not often guests leave the house cleaned and the kitchen sink all cleared. We welcomed the voices of the children at play, as they were never over the top and /or continuous. Most important, is that our guests are comfortable, even as we respectfully share adjoining spaces. We gave this family the very highest grade on the VRBO questionnaire. Wishing the very best! Jamaica Vaca 2020

This was an awesome property with an even better host. Ms. Carol is extremely accommodating and gave excellent communication. This is a beautiful home in a great Kingston neighborhood with easy access to plenty of activities, restaurants, etc. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Ms. Carol’s place & will be back again soon.

Amazing house, amazing host

I came to Kingston for my wedding and my wedding party stayed at "The Inn at 6". It was a truly great experience. It was relaxing, spacious with a very accommodating host (Carol). Nothing beats waking up and having breakfast on the rear patio with the birds singing and a cool breeze. I will recommend this place for any group of 10 who are visiting Kingston. Top class! Top Comfort!

We had a very comfortable stay at the "Inn" located in the peaceful Barbican district of Kingston. It was a true home away from home. The home is charming, spacious and very well kept with views of the hills side from the rear of the house. The owner Carol was welcoming and super helpful with all things related to the home along with great tips for directions and local shops and restaurants. We would recommend this home to anyone looking for comfortable and peaceful stay.

Russell and family were super guests. They were communicative prior to arrival, so that my own time could be well used during what is a busy time of year,. Very responsive to house rules such as security requirements, and importantly, and clearly, treated this home as they do their own.
