Ceci est un chalet magnifiquement construit avec une vue magnifique sur l'extrémité sud de Long Pond. C'est sur une crique abritée avec une grande piscine et plongée en apnée. Le camp a une grande terrasse pour recevoir, un quai complet et des marches qui facilitent l'accès au lac. L'intérieur est confortablement meublé et presque entièrement lambrissé avec la pruche de langue et de cannelure. Il y a de grands placards et commodes, une cuisine entièrement équipée, une télévision par câble à écran plat, ainsi qu'une connexion Wi-Fi gratuite. Un bateau à rames, un canot et des gilets de sauvetage sont à votre disposition.

This is the quintessential cabin rental which provides good modern facilities with the vintage Maine camp feel we have always looked for. We will return to our 3rd rental at this property next year. Very satisfied with our experience.

What a fantastic location

It's a perfect location for R&R, to soak up the view, the sounds of the loons, kayak, paddle board, or just sit and relax. The house has everything you need. I attempted a Julia Childs recipe one evening and was not sure how it was going to work out but rest assured all that was needed was there :-) The owner of the home is wonderful and communicative. You'll enjoy every minute of your stay.

Rob's camp is beautifully built and maintained. It's in a lovely quiet cove, a truly scenic Maine location. Rob is super responsive and an excellent host.

Beautiful setting

This was a lovely camp to spend a week with family! The setting by the lake is beautiful and clean! The camp is big and inviting for people to gather and have games, food, and laughter! We truly enjoyed this quintessential camp. Belgrade village is just 5 min away to give you anything you might need during your stay!! Thank you Rob for being a great host!

Fabulous stay!

We had a wonderful stay on Long Pond. It was the perfect spot to spend time with my 3 teenagers - plenty of space in the cabin, huge deck, and easy access to the water. We had kayaks and a paddleboard in addition to the canoe on site...and enjoyed lots of time on the water. We only left to get ice cream at Day's in Belgrade Lakes.

The Economical Getaway

Everything was at our fingertips. A very cozy, clean, quaint camp. The comforts of home but on a beautiful, clear, blue lake. We wished we could have stayed longer to soak up and participate in everything the property offered. The price was family oriented. We give it a 5-Star Rating.

Beautiful setting

The cabin is located on a pristine lake. It’s very very quiet there except for the loons at night. The cabin was just as advertised. Four very large bedrooms. The Wi-Fi connections are exceptional as is the TV cable connection. The owner kept in good contact with us. There were tons of dishes plates forks knives. Anything you could ask for. We had a great week!!

Completely legit (nice) lake camp experience

This is a beautiful lakefront property, nestled in hemlocks with pristine Long Pond only steps from the house and deck. Southern exposure with plenty of shade, loons, geese and ducks. The house is low maintenance and comfortable...I felt more like I was borrowing a friend's family "camp" more than renting a highly rotated VRBO property. I look forward to returning again.

Best vacation rental I've experienced!

We had such a lovely stay at Rob's cabin. The location on the pond is serene and peaceful--we enjoyed taking the canoe and rowboat out, the neighbors we ran into were friendly and hospitable, and the foliage (mid-September) was breathtaking. The cabin itself is so cozy and comfortable. Its stocked with everything you need--and more. And, its very clear how much love and family history has been shared at the cabin--its a truly special place we were honored to spend time in.

Lovely view

Quiet tranquility! It’s a lovely lake; shallow for swimming with rocks underfoot. Some are slimy. Fishing was good and the loons, gulls and geese were the only noisy ones. The house provided everything we needed as well as a canoe & rowboat. Bring a SUP board & kayaks to maximize your experience. We had a great time!

Beautiful views, relaxing stay

Peaceful, cozy home steps from the water, with wonderful unobstructed water views from the living/dining room windows. Even though neighboring houses were <200 feet away on both sides, we hardly heard or saw anyone else and it felt very private . Kitchen was well-stocked, with plenty of baking dishes, muffin tin, pots and pans, etc. Owner sent detailed notes about the camp after I booked, which provided plenty of detail of what to expect, such as one should plan to bring all bed linens and towels. Highly recommend!

There’s only two things that would make the stay more enjoyable .

1. The couches and the chairs are not comfortable at all . 2. The beds are not comfortable at all . Get rid of the memory foam mattress topper in the master bedroom , it’s to hot , when you sink in .suggestion buy new mattresses and cover them with plastic. Then with a thick sheet, that can be washed after each stay . Other then that , everything was fine.

Great fishing spot on Long Pond

Enjoyed our stay in this protected cove. Perfect spot to have our boat at the dock and head out each day for fishing. Nice roomy house with everything you need. Beautiful deck with nice few of the lake through the trees, which provide great shade. We stayed in Sept. and the baseboard heat was needed at night. Nice and clean and kitchen had everything we needed. King bed had foam topper which made it just right.
