Perfect

Excellent stay . Perfect location for hiking all of the parks. House is large and very comfortable with all of the amenities and great views. Will be back!

Great location and large house for big group

This is a 'specialized' experience that would not suit many group. Cabin is cute and stylized in mountain decor, but cluttered, difficult to navigate into and within (many different levels and rugs so fall hazards) and property manager gave lots and lots of information but often inconsistent. Unit dusty for those with that allergies.

Absolutely perfect

This was our first trip to Colorado with our four children (ages 3 to 10) and Sherri's log home was absolutely perfect! The kids LOVED the house and their favorite part of our entire trip was the view of the Continental Divide and playing outside the house in the snow. Sherri was so sweet and helpful; she made sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely be coming back to Winter Park---the cute town had everything we could possibly need and Sherri's home was less than 10 minutes away from everywhere we needed to go. We bought groceries at Safeway, rode dog sleds in Fraser, tubed at Fraser Tubing Hill and Coca Cola Tubing Park, explored Winter Park Resort, rode snowmobiles, swam at the rec center, ate lunch in town, bought souvenirs at Cooper Creek Square, and even went to Mass at St. Bernard's. Thank you, Sherri, for your hospitality. We can't wait to visit Winter Park again!

Wonderful Family Retreat!!

Sherri’s cabin is a beautiful home away from home! Everything was as advertised and it was so fun finding new little details around the home each day! The decor is true for a family mountain retreat and our boys loved it, especially the log bunk beds!! Sherri contacted us 45min after booking and stayed in constant communication with us, helping to give us ideas for food and activities! It was hard having so much closed or “different” due to COVID, but Sherri’s home was a safe, clean and peaceful place of rest away from all of the crazy in the world, something much needed by our family! Thank you for opening your home and making us part of your family! Blessings to you and your family!

Very nice place. Kitchen is very well equipped. Great location. We were disappointed that the shower/spa tub was not working as it was hard to get 7 people thru one shower. It would have been nice for the property owner to offer some type of compensation for this. Things happen and overall I would highly recommend this house.

Fantastic home!!!

Sherri the owner is a fantastic host, the cabin is very easy to find and in a great location with access to everything in Grand County, and the home itself is the ultimate Colorado experience! A rustic log cabin combined with the totally updated amenities and very comfortable room for a big family. The views are in paralleled and the home is in a beautiful forest setting so it is quiet and you can see the stars forever! We will be back to this property without a doubt and share this place with all of our family and friends!

Excellent Mountain Vacation

This was by far one of the best vacations we have had. The home is just as described, if not better. The kitchen had everything we needed from pots, pans, glasses & silverware. We had 8 people and were never short on dishes for a meal. Everything you would expect to be in your home was here. We had 3 adults and 5 kids ranging in age from 6-13 and all were able to be entertained with the toys and games provided. The view from the deck was amazing. You really feel like you are in total seclusion. That said, we were so close to everything. From a day at Winter Park resort (highly recommended), trails for hiking, the park, downtown, horseback riding, to RMNP, nothing was more than 40 minutes away, and most are less than 10. A great location. If you're looking to stay away from crowded areas, but still have plenty to see and do, I highly suggest Sherri's log home. It was perfect! If you need anything, Sherri was just a text or call away. She was so helpful before and during our stay. She wants you to enjoy your stay and will do what she can to make sure that happens. She was a great host and we would definitely rent from her again!

Exceeded Expectations

The cabin offered a majestic view of the mountains. Cabin was clean and had everything we needed. Cabin was close to Winter Park Resort. My kids and wife had a great time. I would highly recommend renting this cabin if you want the full Rocky Mountain experience. I would rent again. Sherri is a kind person who provided plenty of information and tips on what to do in the area.

Amazing home with a beautiful view and a extremely wonderful home owner.

Sherri is so wonderful to rent from. She’s always available with any helpful information you may need about Winter Park she goes above and beyond. The home is located in the perfect spot. The bus stops right by the house and you can just take the bus to the resort to ski. The view from the house is just amazing. The beds are so comfortable. We had seven adults and we all had a comfortable bed to sleep in,2 couples shared a bed and everyone else had their own bed.

AWESOME LOG CABIN !!

COULDN'T ASK FOR ANYTHING BETTER !! THE LOCATION, THE SCENERY, THE BEDS,. EVERYTHING WAS GREAT !! THIS WAS OUR FIRST TIME IN THESE MOUNTAINS. WHAT A GREAT EXPERIENCE IT WAS. THIS LOG CABIN HAD EVERYTHING WE NEEDED. COMFORTABLE LIVING ROOM WITH LARGE SOFAS, AND A KITCHEN WELL STOCKED WITH EVERYTHING NEEDED TO COOK A GREAT MEAL .. THE OWNER WENT OUT OF HER WAY TO MAKE SURE WE HAD EVERYTHING WE NEEDED. I WILL SAY , SHE IS A VERY NICE PERSON TO RENT FROM !! I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE !!

Wonderful mountain cabin

If your looking to stay in an authentic log cabin home with amazing views, this is the one. It is rustic yet has all the modern amenities you can ask for. When you step out on the back deck, you have a great view of the Continental Divide and the property has many aspens that we’re in full color during our stay. The owner Sherri is wonderful to work with and goes out of her way to make sure your stay is pleasurable. Our family had a great time and will defenitely want to stay there again

Amazing Views!

We had a wonderful time at Winter Park and in this cabin. The cabin was very close to town, hiking trails, and the river. The back deck had an amazing view of the mountains. We had a great time!

Wonderful and Welcoming Mountain Home

Everything about this experience felt like planning a trip to visit a friend rather than your typical HomeAway. From the moment you book up until check out Sherri goes the extra mile to make your trip a success. Her home feels like just that - a home. The place is filled with fun mountain decorations, ample and comfortable seating and sleeping spaces, and everything you could possibly need for cooking, playing and hanging out. The deck gives the impression that you are secluded in the mountains and is the perfect hangout spot for a morning coffee as humming birds stop by or watching a beautiful summer sunset. Despite it's secluded mountain feel, the place is just a short walk or bike ride from downtown. This really is the perfect place for a mountain getaway!
