With its unique whiskey barrel–inspired dĂ©cor, pet-friendly charm, and cozy vintage character, Whiskey Barrel Cabin offers a one-of-a-kind mountain getaway. Perfect for families, couples, and small groups, this retreat captures the spirit of Tennessee — laid-back, welcoming, and full of flavor. This cabin is 3 stories. Enter onto the main floor which has the living room, dining room, kitchen, hot tub, and deck access. The lower level has the primary bedroom, a full bathroom, and the laundry room. It also is direct access to the yard. The upper level has 2 bedrooms and a bathroom.

House was super clean. Loved the deck except the million gigantic actors but that's just mother nature. Hosts were awesome.

The first night the hot tub was not working and we contacted the host who said she would be in touch with a technician and let us know when someone would be there to make repairs. The next day, after not hearing anything back from her, I contacted her. She basically apologized for the inconvenience, but did not have a timeline for a repair. Nothing else was reported back and we did not have use of the hot tub our entire stay. The other major amenity was the fire pit. We enjoyed it for about an hour until the tank ran out. These were the two things that were major booking points for us, and were unable to use them. The house itself was nice, but a few things could be improved. The kitchen was not well-equipped for cooking and there was no ice available, not even ice trays to make ice. Another thing was the lack of seating for 5 adults in the living room. One more chair would be ideal. We had to bring chairs over from the dining table so everyone could sit down.We had Safety concerns with front door kick-plate being broken and sticking out, the gate is in need of repair and was hard to open and close, and the back yard had nails, broken glass, and other things laying around, which was a concern since we had two dogs with us.

This cabin did not disappoint!!! Beautiful home and we loved the quiet and calm of being tucked up in the mountain! We will definitely be back! Only thing we had trouble with is the outdoor gate. Other than that hands down the best vrbo we've stayed in! Hosts were easy to get a hold of and they responded immediately!
