If you’ve been dreaming of a quiet escape deep in the heart of the Ozarks—where the mornings start with birdsong and the evenings end with fireflies—Wooded Wonder is the kind of place that speaks to your soul. Tucked away in the woods at Tall Timbers Camp, this brand-new two-bedroom cabin is your private basecamp for nature walks, fishing mornings, stargazing nights, and everything in between.

This cabin was designed for those who crave the calm of nature but appreciate modern comforts. Step inside and you’ll immediately feel at ease—everything here is fresh and new, from the full kitchen and stainless-steel appliances to the thoughtfully chosen furniture and cozy beds. You’ll find soft lighting, warm wood finishes, and a layout that makes it easy to unwind and reconnect.

With two spacious bedrooms, each featuring a plush king-sized bed and its own ensuite bathroom, it’s perfect for couples, small families, or friends traveling together. Whether you’re enjoying a restful sleep or sipping coffee while the morning light filters through the trees, every part of this space was built with comfort and peace in mind.

Outside, the large private deck invites you to slow down and stay awhile. Surrounded by tall timbers and the sounds of the forest, it’s the perfect spot to plan your next hike, read a book, or watch the sun dip below the trees. The hiking trails begin just steps from your cabin, winding through the resort’s wooded hillsides and offering quiet moments and scenic views at every turn.

Prefer casting a line? You’re in luck. Tall Timbers Camp features two private, stocked fishing lakes, where guests can fish without a license. Whether you’re an early-morning angler or just want to teach the kids to reel in their first catch, these lakes offer simple joy in a beautiful setting.

And the adventure doesn’t stop there. The resort is home to Southwest Missouri’s largest outdoor pool, along with an absolutely stunning indoor pool and hot tub area, perfect for year-round fun. Enjoy a game on the professional-grade pickleball or basketball courts, explore the walking trails, or grab a bite from one of the on-site food trucks. And for a little extra fun, golf cart rentals make it easy to explore the entire resort at your own pace.

There is currently construction at the resort. Most of the construction is on the other side away from our cabin but you could come in contact with equipment and/or workers.
