Welcome — I'm Deron, your host. The Kingston Skyline Escape is a stylish 1-bedroom boutique apartment perched above the city inside the gated Long Mountain Country Club in upper Kingston, Jamaica. The signature feature: two private balconies framing panoramic city-to-sea views — the front balcony captures sweeping skyline vistas all the way down to Kingston Harbour, while the quieter back balcony is a leafy retreat tucked away from the street. Both are perfect for cool mountain breezes, golden-hour photographs, and Kingston sunsets.

Kingston Skyline Escape gets a 10/10 from me. Though my stay was just one night, it was great. The moment I walked in I could feel the cleanness of the space. It was cozy. I'd recommend it. The photos online are an accurate representation of the actual space. The views at the back are actually breathtaking (especially at night). I'm Jamaican and I'm familiar with Long Mountain Country Club. As such, I can confirm that the community is a peaceful and safe one. Deron was most gracious, responsive and professional. I had a small request and it was accommodated kindly. I have absolutely no complaints. There's no doubt that I'll book again whenever i need a place. Don't hesitate to book if you're visiting this beautiful rock or if you're just in Kingston from out of town for work or play.

I'm a co-owner of Skyline Escape and the founder/operator of the brand across Airbnb, Booking.com, Vrbo, and Expedia.

Right now I'm studying abroad — finance with a concentration in real estate development at the University of South Florida, after coming up through The McCallie School in Tennessee on scholarship. Splitting time between the U.S. and home gave me a clear lens on what international travelers actually want when they come to Kingston: thoughtful design, fast Wi-Fi, secure parking, real local recommendations, and a host who actually answers.
