Entouré de Salamonie State Park & Reservoir Newly Converted Barn!

La maison de transport est entourée par la propriété d'État de Salamonie et borde le réservoir de Salamonie! La maison de transport partage environ cinq (5) acres avec notre résidence. Cet espace a beaucoup de "charme rustique" cependant, les équipements modernes vous garderont à l'aise! Que vous soyez à cheval, pêche, canotage, randonnée, vélo sur le Wabash County Trail, voir un spectacle au Honeywell Center, visiter le centre-ville historique de Wabash ou simplement pour vous évader, le Carriage House attend votre arrivée!

La maison de transport est située au deuxième étage de notre grange convertie. Il y a un escalier pour entrer dans la maison de transport ainsi qu'un escalier supplémentaire pour accéder aux chambres, voir les photos. Notre grange abrite des chevaux, un chat espiègle nommé Tiger et des pigeons occasionnels qui viennent le visiter. Cependant, votre espace est juste pour vous! Le Carriage House est équipé du WIFI donc apportez vos propres appareils pour y accéder. La chambre d'amis dispose d'une télévision avec un récepteur DIRECTV. Nous avons une grande allée de gravier qui offre beaucoup de stationnement pendant votre séjour.

Nous avons également la pension de chevaux disponible si vous montez sur les sentiers (nous ne fournissons pas de chevaux) contactez-nous pour plus de détails.

It is such a cute place to stay. Very clean and conveniently located to a boat ramp. We spent our days on Salamonie Lake. I would highly recommend this property. We will definitely be back!

If you love peace and quiet of the country, while relaxing in beautiful surroundings, this barn is a great rental. From the personal welcome sign, to the basket of helpful bathroom items to the cozy decor, Jennifer has thought of everything. The touches in this rental were AWESOME. It was a perfect getaway for my husband and I. You will not be disappointed. Loved the horses and barn kitty. We did not want to leave.

Awesome place! Clean and quiet. Everything and more than you need. Loved the scenery of the state forest and pasture. Host was great to work with and communication was on spot. Place is as pictures depicted. We were there for a wedding and it was a perfect location. Only 2 suggestions- put a TV in living room (TVs in both bedrooms - not in living room) and place a privacy screen of some sort in between the host house and apartment in barn.

Great location

Salamonie is a great middle location for a winter hiking trip. The State forest & dam are 5 minutes away & offer plenty of well marked trails. There are also miles of trails right out the front door. The accommodations were everything we could ask for. I made friends with the cat & the horse. We didn’t get to meet our hosts because we were on the trail fairly early each day, but the apartment had everything we needed & we had the hosts contact info if we had needed anything.

James Dean Weekend

My husband and I spent the weekend with his sister and brother in law for James Dean and the Duck tail. We try to do this every year and we really enjoyed this property. We were able to return early one evening and sit around the fire, it is very peaceful. Everything was clean and comfortable, a really nice place! The only thing I didn't think about when I booked it was the amount of stairs ( my sister in law has a bad knee) I felt bad that she struggled a bit with that but all in all I highly recommend!

Quiet place.

Property was clean, and well equiped, less internet which could be resolved with another access point located in the barn. We had events in N. Manchester, for revival Services. Did not have any issue except for the beds, just not our preference. Host can contact me if they would like to consult onthe wire less connectivity.

Peace on earth

Gorgeous location for solitude in God's creation to unwind and reset. Lovely setting and close to a multitude of outdoor activities or shopping. The Carriage House was impeccable and quite charming. In this age of tear down and build new, it was nice to see that this beautiful barn was renovated for multi-use for 4-legged and 2-legged visitors. Definitely a little slice of heaven and it was a pleasure spending time here. Although it was full on winter, we were able to hike some local trails and were blessed that 2 bald eagles graced us with their presence while walking. We definitely consider this one of our favorite vacation stays. Next time the visit will be longer!

This is a beautiful rental was comfortable seating and excellent views out into the pasture. The mature trees as you drive in beside the barn or thick and offer great shading.There are marked parking spaces on a pea gravel parking lot for 3 to 4 cars. It’s a circle drive so if you had a longer vehicle or aren’t the best at backing up, there’s an ample room to do so. It’s on a dead end so there’s no traffic to deal with. outdoor seating with a fire pit allows for rest and relaxation.The inside was nice and cool especially since we had I hate index of 105!!!!!! well stocked kitchen. I would highly recommend this rental to anyone who had adventures going on at Salmon Lake or needed a secluded place to stay outside Wabash or Huntington. Meticulous grounds and inside!!

This was a very nice apartment. Everything we needed for a 3 day weekend was in the apartment. The farm setting was perfect for our taste. Lots to do if you like being g outdoors. Would definitely come back again.

Imaginative Barn getaway

Beautiful unit built in part of their old bank barn. Stairs to get to main living area and add’l stairs to reach two bedrooms (low ceilings). The decor is fresh and the unit is clean. Quite remote and a peaceful setting. First VRBO rental that I had significant trouble with communication, WiFi not working ( our Van. cell service also didn’t work) and no washer/dryer. Cute pony below the unit looking for interaction and small group of healthy chickens to give you the full farm feel. Very cool hammock swings out front and a opening in patio that is for small campfire with four chairs. Leftover construction wood piled close by to burn if interested. We were gone most of our time celebrating our sons graduation so didn’t get to utilize. * I hope the HVAC draws outside fresh air and not air from inside the other portion of the barn. * It’s a fun experience and they’ve done a very nice job. Beautiful and large bathroom.

Weekend Getaway

Owners are amazing! We had a flat tire and the owner helped us air up the tire so we could take it somewhere to get fixed. The home was clean and relaxing! Would stay again! When we first arrived, we didnt realize the owners home was so close, but it wasn't a problem at all! They were friendly and wonderful hosts!
