Chalets parfaits pour une famille ou un couple voyageant sur les rives du pittoresque Bayou Teche. Situé au cœur du pays cajun, vous n'êtes qu'à quelques kilomètres de la célèbre usine Tabasco sur l'île d'Avery, de nombreux festivals et du centre-ville pittoresque de la Nouvelle-Ibérie. Ce chalet est une ferme rénovée de canne à sucre construite au début des années 1900. Hébergement un lit double dans une chambre, un lit jumeau dans une deuxième chambre et un canapé-lit dans le salon. Le chalet dispose également d'un grand coin cuisine avec grand réfrigérateur / congélateur, micro-ondes et coin petit-déjeuner. Tout au long est décoré avec des meubles vintage des années 1950 lui donnant une sensation très confortable. Un grand écran partagé dans le porche est idéal pour se détendre et surplombant les eaux paisibles du Bayou Teche.

Very clean, quiet, and interesting place to stay. We appreciated the history behind the cottages and the decorating…very charming and unique! Tranquil spot overlooking the bayou

The Olive Branch cottage was perfect for visiting family not far away. It was nice to watch a huge flock of Ibis settle in the water from the spacious screened porch. I recommend the cottage!

Beautiful Property

Comfortable home on beautiful property! We really enjoyed the screened porch overlooking the Teche. If you're traveling with family, just be aware that in true "shotgun" style, there are no doors between the rooms. Eveything in the home was clean, decorated with cute antiques, and the shower pressure was lovely!was wonderful.

Great place to stay.

Very easy check-in. Well appointed amenities. We stayed in the 2 bedroom. Comfortable beds. Screened in porch with view of the bayou. Very relaxing and close to everything around Lafayette. The owners are right there so if you were to need something they are available to you. We were VERY happy with our stay and you will too.

Awesome Getaway

The olive cottage was absolutely perfect and immaculate. Our friends stayed in the burgundy cottage and we were connected by a screened in porch which is where we stayed majority of the time. We had two full beds and a sofa with a spacious bathroom. The views from the Teche were beautiful and the owners were so attentive and personable. We will be back.

Charming, clean, and comfortable

The cottage was perfect for us. Very charming and roomier and more comfortable for my family than a hotel room would have been. Enjoyed the bottle of wine left for us by the owners. The location is perfect too. It’s right on the bayou so the view is very peaceful and there’s lots of outdoor area to run around which is great for kids. It feels like you’re out in the country but it was only about 8 minutes away from the places we wanted to visit. Unfortunately it was unseasonably cold so we didn’t spend much time enjoying the outside deck and grill, or screened in patio. Hopefully we can go back and stay again when it’s a little warmer.

You won’t find better.

As a VRBO host myself, I can say this place is one of the nicest I have encountered. It looks freshly remodeled. It’s clean and decorated thoughtfully. 2 rooms, 2 televisions. Climate control and fans. The grounds are gorgeous! It’s on the waterfront. Country getaway close enough to the city for restaurants and galleries and shopping. I loved it. Anyone that decided to stay here would. I had a lovely chat with the host prior to checking out this morning and he was down to earth and told me a bit about the history of the structures we were staying in, which made me appreciate our stay even more. Highly recommended!

Beautiful, clean, and quiet

We are a family with three young kids. 7, 5, and 2. We stayed here as we were passing through on a vacation. It was a great stop and had everything we needed. We also realized we left some items (read above, we have 3 young kids) and they are being boxed up and shipped to us. Highly recommend!

Very clean and cute!

Nestled on bayou teche, this cabin was cute and very clean. The area was quiet, and the host provided coffee and some toiletries which was much appreciated! The beds were super comfortable, and the ACs kept the rooms cold. We were only staying one night for a wedding, but the cabin would make for a lovely weekend getaway. I can't stress enough how impressed we were with the cleanliness!
