The host was very welcoming and the house suited our needs perfectly! The fenced in backyard was perfect for our dogs. They had the house beautifully decorated for Christmas too.

The place is much nicer and larger than the pictures show. The basement is full of activities for adults and teens, and with the multiple levels it ensures everyone in the family has space

Great hospitality by host. House was perfect. Travel insurance was a nightmare
 and ultimately declined our claim for 1 nite. We had purchased travel insurance through the VRBO site because this was a costly place at more than 400/night. A winter storm hit the night we were to drive home. We left early to avoid the weather. Turned out the storm caused a 65 car pile up along our route with road closures. If we had not left early, we would have been caught up in the mess and been delayed getting home. The insurance would not cover the one night we requested. I would not waste money on the travel insurance!

Lovely, family-friendly home with plenty of space to spread out. We especially enjoyed the nice kitchen, cozy family room, and the large finished basement with a ping pong table. The backyard was a highlight, with lots of seating and a fire pit (though we didn’t get a chance to use it).A couple of things future guests may want to know: our mini dachshund was able to slip through a few spots in the fenced yard, so small pets shouldn’t be left unattended. Also, the showers only had shampoo and conditioner, no soap, and the beds didn’t have top sheets—which we would have appreciated since it was warmer upstairs. One ceiling fan didn’t work, but the host kindly offered to check it and we chose to manage without.Overall, we had a lovely stay—relaxing in the backyard, enjoying the above normal temps on a beautiful fall weekend.
