This was a lovely clean and modern property with an excellent bathroom and facilities. Good communication from the host who was very prompt with his replies. We informed him that there was only 1 wine glass in the property and 4 new ones turned up the next day. Thanks Marco. The location was very nice and just a steady 20 minute walk into the centre of Kranjska gora which is a lovely authentic town . The bigger area around the mountains was probably the nicest area we've ever seen from the soca valley up to kranjska gora and over to lake bled. Absolutely stunning with lots to see and do. Also, the beer was only €3.5 on average and the wine was very reasonable too. A great place to stay and travel around and we'd love to come back sometime. The only downside with the apartment was that the 2nd twin bedroom had 2 different height beds so they had to be used as a twin rather than pushing them together as a double, but that's just a minor note. We would definitely recommend this apartment.

Beautiful Modern Apartment

We enjoyed our 5 night stay. The place is spacious, quiet and clean. Very modern and beautiful. Nice views of Mount Triglav from the dining room table. Best of all it is easy to get to. No curvy or steep roads on the way there. Easy parking. Note: in Europe the first floor is referred to as the second floor in the US. There is a great paved bike path within 200 yards of the place. We used it for a walk into Krajska Gora. In Krajska Gora we rented ebikes from Bike Kekec and biked through Mojstrana and beyond by using the paved bike path. It was easy to get to the castle in Bled and other activities in Bled. We also found it to be a good location for hiking the Pokljuška Soteska Gorge and Pericnik Waterfall. We enjoyed our hike starting from Aljažev dom v Vratih. The views of Mount Triglav were great. We liked the hike in Soca along the Soca Pot trail, but the drive there takes a while. 50 hair pin turns built over 100 years ago make the drive interesting. We really like Slovenia and would recommend this rental and location for outdoor activities and small cities.

Ansprechende Unterkunft auch für den Sommerurlaub

Wir haben hier zu zweit eine angenehme Zeit verbracht. Das Apartment ist geräumig und gut ausgestattet und die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war perfekt (jede Frage wurde schnell beantwortet)! Da wir im Sommer da waren, haben wir den Saunabereich nicht genutzt. Gut hat uns auch der überdachte Stellplatz gefallen. Als Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge, Wander- und Radtouren in die nähere und weitere Umgebung liegt das Haus gut. Bis nach Kranjska Gora sind es ca. 15-20 min zu Fuß, dort finden sich Cafés, Restaurants und diverse Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Vielleicht noch gut zu wissen: Die Balkone sind sehr schmal, auf dem Südbalkon konnten wir zu zweit an dem kleinen Tisch für ein Getränk oder einen Imbiss sitzen und den Blick auf die Berge genießen. Der Nordbalkon geht zur Straße hinaus, so dass wir ihn nicht benutzt haben. Die Schlafzimmer liegen zur Straßenseite, nachts war es bei geschlossenen Fenstern aber ziemlich ruhig. Vielleicht könnte die Wohnung einen neuen Anstrich bekommen, aber das ist sicherlich Ansichtssache.
