Summary:

We promise you will fall in love with the beautiful views from the back yard of this 3,200 sq.ft. Fountain Hills 4-bedroom home. From top to bottom, this home is the perfect getaway, offering a private heated pool, hot tub, putting green, fire pit, horseshoe pit, BBQ grill and large outdoor patio area.



We can't wait for you to enjoy the quiet seclusion of the Refuge.



The Space:

This 4 Bed/3 Bath home is fully furnished and equipped with everything you will need to enjoy your stay:

Bed Configuration:

Master: 1 King

Room 2: 1 King or 2 Twin XL

Room 3: 1 King or 2 Twin XL

Room 4: 1 King or 2 Twin XL

Living Room: 1 Queen Sofa Sleeper



The master bedroom is setup with a king bed. As for the other 3 bedrooms, each has two twin XL beds (80 in. long). We can also push them together, put a liner in the middle with king sheets, and make a true king size bed (78" x 80"). So we can have either 2 twins or 1 king in bedrooms 2, 3 and 4, whichever you prefer.



*Additional maid service cleans are available for an additional cost during your stay. Please ask for details!



Guest Access:

Guests will have access to the entire home and backyard.



The Neighborhood:

The home is only 4 miles from downtown Fountain Hills, and only 4.3 miles from the Ft. McDowell casino.



Getting Around:

I also work closely with GolfTroop, a golf vacation company. They have awesome discounted rates at most of the area golf courses, as well as rental vehicles through Alamo, and even rental clubs. Just ask me for details, and I would be happy to have someone reach out!

- Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport: ~25 minutes.

- Scottsdale Airport: ~30 minutes. This airport serves private flights and charters.

- Rideshare (Waymo/Uber/Lyft) are plentiful and convenient in the area.

- Valley Metro and public transit operate across the Valley; however, North Scottsdale is not heavily served by the railway.

- Local neighborhood streets are accessible and walkable.

- Retail and dining within 2 Miles.

- There are bike lanes and multi-use paths in parts of North Scottsdale and access to paved trails.

Other Things to Note:

Welcome to our relaxing Refuge! This home finds itself close to an array of restaurants, entertainment, and hiking trails. For food you can find anything from sushi at Oka Sushi to tacos at Maskadores Taco Shop. Entertainment includes places like the Fountain Hills theatre, Desert Dog Hummer Adventures, and We-Ko-Pa casino. Plenty of outdoor activities with the most famous being the fountain at Fountain Hills Parks and Recreation or surround yourself with the beauty of the desert environment at Fountain Hills Botanical Garden. There is plenty to check out during your stay!



There will be a house manual upon arrival that you will be expected to read. All important complex rules and expectations will be outlined in the manual.



Renter understands that an insurance policy covers the Property but that this policy insures only the Property and the tangible personal property in it owned by the owner and does not insure any personal property of the Rental Party or Renter’s licensees, invitees, or guests. Renter is advised to seek traveler’s or renter’s insurance if Renter desires to insure the Rental Party’s or other persons’ personal property during the occupancy.



Check-in is at 4:00 p.m., and checkout at 11:00 a.m. Early check-ins and late check-outs are generally not possible due to the time it takes to clean an entire home. The only way to ensure an early arrival or late departure is to purchase an extra night. Please contact me 24 hours in advance if you would like to extend your stay, and I would be happy to see if that is an option.



Failure to depart the premises before 11:00 a.m. on check-out without prior written consent will result in an additional charge of $100/hour withheld from your security deposit, plus any expenses incurred by needing to move your personal things out of the home, or from moving the incoming group of guests to a new property.



Any stay 28 nights or longer will be required to provide a credit card to keep on file. Our personal terms and conditions will also be sent separately and will need to be submitted. Feel free to ask for a copy if interested.



For any booking 28 nights or longer, any adjustment to the booking resulting in a reduction in the length of stay will incur a $500 fee, plus 10% of the difference in price.



Electricity will be charged separately ONLY FOR STAYS 28 days or longer. There is a large monthly discount applied, so in an effort to keep your price as low as possible, we ask guests to pay for the electricity separately. Everything else will be included (wifi, cable TV, tax, cleaning every 2 weeks, pool/gym access, etc.) We estimate the average electricity bill to be $300/month. It's possible it may be a bit more in the summer with heavy A/C usage, and it will most likely be quite a bit lower in the winter. Once the reservation is confirmed, we will send a request to pay a $300 electricity deposit for the reservation. This will be applied to your final electric bill. Any difference will be refunded to you, and any additional amount will be withheld from your security deposit. Checkin details will not be sent without the $300 electricity deposit paid in advance. Payment can be made through Airbnb as a separate payment, or directly through me with a valid credit card.



PLEASE NOTE: There is NO additional cost to heat the pool.

The pool is indoors, and is heated with an electric heater. The temp will be set to 85 degrees. The ability of an electric heater to heat the pool is largely dependent upon the ambient air temperature. In the colder months, the heater will not be as efficient. For this reason, we do not guarantee the temp will always be at 85 degrees. The pool is indoors, which will help keep the pool warm, but there will be no refunds if the pool temperature is unsatisfactory.



Pool cleaning is Monday morning. Each Monday morning, the pool cleaner will knock on the back pool door. If no one answers, he will let himself in to service the pool. Please do not be alarmed. It usually only takes a few minutes, and he will not be entering any other part of the home.



Upon booking, we require all our guests to submit a copy of their ID through our guest registration form. This is both for our security and is our standard procedure. Unable to comply would mean cancellation of your reservation. Management will carefully evaluate and consider every reservation made by locals, individuals under 25 years of age, or those made at the last minute. As part of our standard procedure, we will require a fully refundable security deposit of $1000. This deposit will be promptly refunded upon check-out, provided there are no damages or incidents for which the renter is responsible.



The driveway is very steep. If you have a trailer, RV, or other lengthy vehicle, please note you may not be able to get up the driveway.



Town of Fountain Hills - Mandatory Disclosure:

The Owner of this property will provide you with pertinent safety information, explain your responsibilities under the Fountain Hills Town Code, and expect you to certify your compliance therewith.



You must not use this property for any nonresidential or other prohibited activity or use, as defined in Fountain Hills Town Code Section 8-6-5. Any renter who causes, permits, facilitates, aides, or abets such prohibited use of this property shall be subject to a civil infraction carrying a mandatory penalty of a minimum of $500.00, in addition to any other penalties which the Town may impose.



The use of this Short-Term Rental to house sex offenders is prohibited by State Law and by the Fountain Town Code. The Owner of this Short-Term Rental is required to perform a background check on you and your guests prior to your stay.



Interaction with Guests:

I will be available via email during business hours. Your check in information will also include an After Hours/Urgent phone number for issues regarding lockouts, water leaks and heater or A/C failure. No one will be on the premises.



Should you run into ANY problems upon check-in or have any questions during your stay and need to contact me outside of normal business hours, PLEASE call the After Hours/Urgent 877 phone number listed in your house manual.

Great Place for Executive Retreat

The Senior Leaders of our company chose this place to have their retreat and it worked great. While VRBO is typically used for family or friends as a vacation spot it worked great for all the Senior Leaders to have one stop for sleep, meet, and relax.

Just amazing!!

We had such a great time staying here and the hosts were responsive, making check in super easy. This is a huge house and great for larger groups. I would highly recommend this property and will most likely stay here again in the future.

We had a great time.

Beautiful private views. Nice kitchen and comfortable beds. The HVAC can be a bit noisy at night depending on which room you’re in. We wish there were board games or cards at the house. Watched sun rise from hot tub : ). Overall good stay. Pool was bigger than looks but is ‘just’ warm enough to stay in a short while.

GREAT location - super quiet - property feels run down

Overall we enjoyed our stay very much. Management team was very responsive and friendly. House was very clean and well stocked with tons of games and kitchen utensils. Unfortunately, the property is run down and is in need of attention. The front door combination deadbolt doesn't work from the outside, so we had to deal with that upon arrival. Pool was ice cold, and we couldn't use it on the first day as the breaker for the heater was tripped prior. There were a handful of other minor issues... If management were to perform maintenance required, we would come back.
