Amazing Christmas Vacation Away From Home

The Marriott Newport Coast property has something for every age, the perfect place for a relaxing vacation. The condo/apt was spacious with wonderful views of the ocean. Our 6 year old granddaughter enjoyed many of the daily activities at the kids club & thoroughly enjoyed playing with kids at the heated pools.The property is immaculately maintained, we wish we owned one of the timeshares so we could return yearly.

Loved every minute

Great location. Loved using the resort facilities. Our older teens played basketball and used the pool and were able to hit the beach on their own using the shuttle. We hit the gym daily and enjoyed having our own kitchen and laundry and being able to hang out together in a family room. Yet the kids had their space in their bedroom and bathroom and we had ours. Always had a parking spot in the garage too. Would definitely stay again.

Luxury Resort overlooking Pacific Ocean

This was a luxury resort complete with multiple heated pools & hot tubs, ping pong & pool tables, shuffle board, poolside bar & restaurant, immaculate grounds overlooking the Pacific Ocean. It’s a short walk down to the beautiful Discovery Bay State Park (or take the free resort shuttle.). Everyone on property was friendly and helpful. Lot of families staying here. Accommodation is very spacious and clean; our villa was on the top floor looking out to the ocean. Note: this is a 7 day timeshare property, so if you want to stay anything other than 7 days, I would recommend contacting the owner to see if they can arrange that.

Gorgeous resort and great company to work with!

My family and I stayed at Newport Coast this summer and it surprised us in every way! We expected the resort to feel less like a hotel or resort and more like a typical "timeshare". Wrong. This place felt like an upscale resort, the only difference was the size of our room. I don't think we will ever stay in a hotel again now that we've experienced having a full kitchen, living area, 2 bedrooms and a balcony for our room. Concierge Realty was easy to work with, they answered all of our questions and they even gave us suggestions of things to do while on our trip. Would definitely recommend this to friends and we will be coming here again!

Wonderful family vacation

We loved Marriott Newport Coast! The villas were gorgeous and the grounds were amazing. The pools kept the kids busy and there was so much to do at the resort that we rarely left. The villa felt like home. We requested a view of the pool and were delighted to see not only the pool but the coastline. The property is large, so we did take advantage of the golf cart shuttle service when we wanted to try a different pool. Great location - near Laguna so perfect for shopping and dining. Joanne at Concierge Realty helped us with our villa rental. We were a little skeptical because we have never used VRBO before. She made the process easy and answered all of our questions. We want to return next year for two weeks.

Exactly as Described!

This property was perfect for our family of 5. We cover the ages with our kids, 4, 10, 14. There was plenty to do for all of us. From the beautiful & heated pool, pool table room, ice cream socials, paddle board basketball just to name a few. It was AWESOME and we will definitely be back this summer!

Marriot Coast vacation villas was just perfect

Great location, good size villas for a family of 5, resort was fab. Was exactly what we were looking for with a mixture of rest and relaxation, and also things to do nearby.

A really relaxing stay at Marriott Newport Coast

We called ahead for a high floor and received a penthouse villa where we could actually see the ocean! Lots of golf, pools, dining and napping for us. Very pretty resort and the room was gorgeous. We would go back!

Marriott Newport Coast Villas

My family of 5 (including children ages 14, 12 and 10) very much enjoyed our trip to the Newport Coast and the Marriott Villas. The 2-bedroom villa was very clean and allowed us a short walk to the main pool. The facility had terrific amenities including 3 different pool areas, tennis courts, a basketball court, ping pong, etc. Great views of the ocean and an easy shuttle ride to Crystal Cove beach. An excellent trip!

Great resort and something for everyone

I was a little hesitant when first booking considering there is a no refund policy. But, the price is very reasonable and the Marriott Newport Coast property was fantastic. We have children ages 4 to 18 and there are activities for all of them. My oldest likes to workout and the gym there is very nice for a resort. Playground, sandbox, movies, games for the little one. Video games, pools, ping-pong, putt-putt, basketball, tennis for the others. Only drawback is that there's nothing else near the resort. Would have to drive at least 10 minutes to get to shopping and restaurants. There is a shuttle to bring you to other places, but didn't find it convenient to use, so we just drove. Unit was very nice and had everything you'd need. Be sure to visit Pageant of the Masters at Laguna Beach.

Marriott Didn't Deliver

Our stay was a lovely experience. I would not stay at a Marriott again because I was under the impression that we would have maid service. We were told that we were not entitled to maid service is we were not staying at least 8 nights. Yes, there was a washer and dryer provided and we did have to wash towels and sheets. I could understand if this was a motel, but it surely didn't cost what a motel cost. With that said, we had fun away from the property. I would not recommend to a friend. Newport Coast is stunning. We will stay at the Montage in Laguna on our visit here next July.

Great location with easy Pacific Coast Highway access. Close to Laguna Beach, Newport Beach, great shopping at Fashion Island. Well appointed villa, our location was very quiet. The first impression of the pool was it was extremely crowded (~450 chairs) around the three pools. Got less crowded after the weekend. They could use an upgrade to the lounge chairs. None were in bad shape, just not the quality I expect when paying $500+ per night. Overall staff was friendly. The staff at check-in desk was extremely friendly and helpful. The pool bar needs better staff. Great service if you want to go to the beach. Hop on the Marriott van with pool towels and they bring you across the highway to Crystal Cove. You rent chairs and umbrellas at the beach. Not a big fan of paying a rental fee of ~approximately $60 for 4 chairs and umbrella. Love that you can take whatever towels you want at the pool to bring to beach. Would definitely go back again. Only other draw back is rentals are done in 7 day increments (Friday to Friday). Why can't they rent for a 10 day stay, etc. Still, great place for a family vacation. Final bonus: no daily charge for parking.
