Superbe maison d'hÎtes avec grande piscine chauffée!

RĂ©cemment rĂ©novĂ© et meublĂ© en fĂ©vrier 2013. Profitez d'un petit coin de paradis dans notre maison d'hĂŽtes. La chambre principale a 1000 feuilles de nombre de threads. Tous les nouveaux appareils et meubles. Cuisine bien Ă©quipĂ©e, avec cafetiĂšre, mixeur, mijoteuse, etc. CafĂ©, sucre, crĂ©mier et quelques Ă©pices fournis. 6 serviettes de plage fournies avec 2 chaises de plage, un parasol, une glaciĂšre et un boogie board. Profitez de la grande propriĂ©tĂ© de 1/2 acre et de la piscine chauffĂ©e. Deux chambres Ă  coucher, 1 salle de bain, avec grand salon et cuisine. Barbecue disponible pour utiliser avec deux tables en plein air pour profiter de vos repas. À cinq minutes de l'Ă©picerie, des magasins, des restaurants et du cafĂ©. Cinq minutes en voiture pour se rendre Ă  l'autoroute 805. TrĂšs bien situĂ©. 20 min en voiture de Coronado et 25 min de l'aĂ©roport, du parc Balboa et du zoo. DĂ©solĂ©, pas d'enfants de moins de 6 ans et pas d'animaux. Je vous remercie.

Good Location but NOT as Advertised!

Checkin went Smooth and warm welcome from the on Property Owners.Pool - WARNING -IT IS NOT HEATED as Marketed, and we were told it hasn’t worked for at least the last year or more.We were told that we could pay 50 per day to heat the SPA, and then later told that HEATER was also BROKE. Pool Area - when we arrived there were some pool items out, but nothing too outrageous. What was a bit disappointing were all the spider webs and dirt
 meaning there were leaves ‘dirt’ on the furniture. You could tell no one had done anything to prepare/clean the back yard for our arrival. Living Quarters - Everything looked just fine when we arrived. Noticed throughout the stay that the owners were having a significant issue with ants in the kitchen and spare bedroom. If anything were left overnight in the sink, let alone in the counter, there would be hundreds of ants all over. Also, there were a couple ants who decide to sneak into bed with us throughout the stay
 Also one of the spare beds was broke and slanted to one side. Probably the worst part of the situation is that the owners, instead of accepting and trying to own the fact that the pool wasn’t being heated and that they had not marketed it properly, tried to argue that it was warm enough (84 degrees) during the day. (Note: We were not sitting at the pool during the day, and paid to be able to enjoy it in the early morning and late evenings after we were done sightseeing. It was 76-78 at that time.)

AMAZING VRBO!

We can’t say enough about this awesome place and its owners. Communication was top notch and it was just as described! Immaculate, quiet neighborhood, comfortable beds, and close to everything we wanted to see and do! San Diego Visit

This was our 3rd stay here. There is a reason because it's a perfect place for us to stay and visit our family members who live close by. The pool and the beautiful backyard are awesome. Property is convenient for shopping, dining out and traveling into the city. We will be back again.

Fun Stay

Our mini family reunion in San Diego was wonderful and staying at the Casita was fun due to the gorgeous backyard with a heated swimming pool. We were grateful to have a gas grill for our nightly barbecues and the kitchen was well stocked with everything you need to make all your meals. The neighborhood is beautiful and near tennis courts, Costco, and close to the freeway. The hosts were welcoming and kind. The bed in the master bedroom was also very comfy. Thank you so much!

Fabulous little Casita

We had an amazing stay here in Chula Vista, it was a perfect location for seeing all that San Diego has to offer. While staying here we visited San Diego Zoo, San Diego Safari Park, Sea World, USS Midway, The Children’s Museum, Sesame Place Water Park, saw the seals and sea lions at La Jolla and did a whale watching cruise. All were a good driveable distance from this Casita. We loved coming “home” to it at the end of every day. The children loved the pool and the ping pong. All in all, we had a fabulous stay and we were very sad to leave. Celeste and Mark were great hosts and provided useful local knowledge to supplement the research we had done ahead of our stay.

Vacation in Chula Vista

The casita was perfect for our family. Pool was beautiful and outdoor surroundings were perfect. Private laundry was very helpful . Everything was close with shopping center only few miles. House very clean, comfortable and well equipped. Would recommend highly to everyone, candace.

All the comforts of home plus a pool

We loved coming back to this casita after a hard day of sightseeing and lying on San Diego beaches. We took a couple of days to just hang out by the pool, relax and cook out. We loved having space for our family and laundry. The location is handy, safe and beautiful.

Wonderful Stay!

We were so happy with our stay! Everything that is described in the listing is 100% accurate. The house is very clean and the property is well maintained. It feels like you are on a tropical getaway. The location is perfect, most of the tourist activities including the beaches were within a 15 minute drive. Celeste was a perfect host, she offered wonderful recommendations regarding dining. If we are ever back in San Diego this would be the place we would stay!

Amazing trip

Celeste was amazing! Loved her and her place. Very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Kids really enjoyed the pool and stores/fast food was all down the road from us. The neighborhood was beautiful and very safe. I 110% recommend staying at her place we will be back again!

Nice location in quiet neighborhood

We were in town with our kids (age 11 & 8) for a week. The property is very nice, the weather didn't cooperate much so we didn't get to use the pool but it's a very nice setup. There is off street parking and it's a nice neighborhood not far from all the tourist attractions (Beaches, SeaWorld, Zoo etc). We definitely would stay here again.

Beautiful relaxing oasis 20 minutes from Downtown San Diego

With so much to do while in San Diego, this was the perfect spot. You can easily get to any of the many major attractions, and come home to a peaceful secluded home. Or, spend the day relaxing out by the beatifully manicured pool and backyard, then go out for the night. Either way, it was perfect for our family (2 teenage boys, me and my husband). All the amenities and more - they truly thought of everything to make you feel at home!

Amazing Comfy Home

We were absolutely thrilled to be staying here. Everything about the home was gorgeous, clean, put together beautifully. The pool and outside sitting was a dream
the outside lights at night looks awesome. We wish we could have got a little more time in around the pool but it was a tad cold outside, the kids loved the warmer temps in the pool and we enjoyed laying in the sunshine in the comfy pool furniture!! Host was punctual very sweet and kind and made sure our stay was good. It was really nice getting to meet her face to face as you don’t always get to do so. All in all we had a wonderful stay

Chula Vista Family Visit

The property was all that needed for our visit with our son and his new bride who live in Chula Vista. We enjoyed using the pool and the location was perfect for our visit. Close enough to go to Coronado Beach for the afternoon and a wine tasting trip to Temecula on another day. We would definitely try to stay here again when we come back to San Diego area.

A hidden gem of San Diego

As a family of 4, we were more than pleased with our stay. Not only were we comfortable, we enjoyed the beautiful scenery surrounding the casita. This location is perfect to come back to relax after spending a busy day touring San Diego. The host Celeste was very gracious in providing pantry supplies and a few staples for the fridge. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and accommodating host.

A true home away from home!

The casita was absolutely perfect in every way! It was cozy, clean and so adorable! The beds were so comfortable and it was so nice to have everything we needed to feel right at home including a coffee maker, beach towels and chairs, access to washer/dryer and the tranquility of the beautiful backyard! It was so nice to be able to have the kitchen to have a quick breakfast in before heading out to see what San Diego has to offer. Having the pool to ourselves was a real treat as well on days when chose to hang back and relax! I would definitely recommend staying here to anyone and everyone! I was born in Johannesburg, South Africa and lived there until I was 9 years old. In 1979 our family moved to Vancouver, Canada. I lived there until I was 22 and then went to Chiropractic College in San Jose, California. My husband and I moved to San Diego in 1995 and have lived here ever since.
