It was super peaceful and relaxing. My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our weekend getaway. Beautiful and we loved watching all the wild life.

haha - thanks for staying with us you guys! We hope that you will return in the future. To answer your question, no discovery woods isnt for sale, its where our family gathers for the holidays, and holds a special place in our hearts- Actually: We are expanding, we will be adding two more unique overnight stays on the farm shortly, and our new highland cows arrive late this fall from Virgina! We hope that you guys will be back to check us out! :)

We enjoyed a wonderful and relaxing vacation away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Very peaceful place. Hot tub was perfect in the chilly weather.

Property was decent but lacked attention to minor yet major details. Upon arrival, I noticed the grass was half way cut with weeds still surrounding everything. It had been “cut” so to speak but large clumps of grass remained everywhere and prices to be hazardous to walking. Especially at night. The fire pit was surrounding by tall weeds preventing us from enjoying the area. Do not expect to stargaze with the provided telescope. It has a price tag or something stuck to the lens and did not work. The tub has a layer of film around the top edge when we removed the lid and it became very apparent that it had not been professionally cleaned by the store bought products left open nearby on a table with other trash. The porch areas had lots of grass clippings, dirt, etc that clearly hadn’t been blown or swept in quite sometime. The lock on the back door was broken and the door itself didn’t close well. It had to be secured with a bar, which felt really sketchy. The overall cleanliness was subpar. We even found a pile of crumbs on the couch and food on the counters. The house itself was still visibly under construction with light fixtures hanging by wires from ceilings and air vents missing. But worst of all was the over abundance of active bee hives on the exterior. There were so many, both new and old. It was quite clear this has not truly been addressed other than the empty cans of raid we found thrown behind the hot tub on the back porch. Would not stay against, ever.

Property needs some repairs. The hot tub wasn’t clean and the grass definitely needed to be cut before guests arrived. The property did provide what we were looking for as a respite from the fireworks.
