Dombeya is the perfect spot for people who seek a stylish, off-the-beaten track, self-drive safari, with easy access in central Eswatini! Our beautiful 4 bedroom, self catering villa has en-suite bathrooms, a private pool, private bbq, big, open veranda, well-equipped kitchen, and STARLINK internet. Each bedroom has a king sized bed, or we can put two singles in each room (and we can add camping beds for extra children if needed)!

At Dombeya, we welcome you to explore nature up-close and at your own pace. Soak up a sunset, with giraffe browsing beside you.... Stroll to a wildlife watering hole, coffee in hand..... Take a winding game drive, past herds of zebra.... Cook over an open fire, stars above, with jackal calling.... Yes, this is Dombeya!

At Dombeya, we welcome you to enjoy our scenic network of game drive roads & walking trails and plentiful wildlife (giraffe, zebra, kudu, nyala, waterbuck, bushbuck, impala, red and grey duiker, warthog, bushpig, jackal, caracal and more). We have excellent birding, with over 220 species, and herds of wildlife frequent the villas if you prefer to sit back and let the wildlife come to you! We also have a free mapping app for your phone (no data needed), so you can explore in total peace.

Dombeya Game Reserve is just 20 minutes from Manzini, 30 minutes from Sikhuphe Airport (King Mswati III International)/Hlane Game Reserve, and 40 minutes from the main Malkerns Valley tourist hub. We also have a 2 bedroom villa and 3 bedroom villa, if you have a larger group or need to spread out.

A masseuse team is available with advance booking, as is delicious catering or a private chef, and there are beautiful Bushman/San paintings a short drive away!

Our villa kitchens are well equipped with everything you need to cook a delicious meal, inside or out, and we are only 20 minutes from a good grocery store.

We recommend at least 2-3 nights to relax and enjoy all the Reserve has to offer, though many guests stay much longer and use Dombeya as a base for exploring (and/or working!)

The owners, Steph and Matt, live full-time on site and are available to answer any questions and share travel advice.

(Please note: our entrance gate is 1 km off the tar road. Upon confirmation of booking and payment, we send guests a map and information to unlock the gate and access the Reserve.
Please also note there is a swimming pool at the villa, with no cover/no fence so young children must be under adult supervision at all times).
