This was the perfect place for my family. We had plenty of room and the house was clean and comfortable. The pots and pans could use an upgrade, and the upstairs floorboards are squeaky but overall it was great!!

Everything was wonderful. The house is perfect for our family; spacious, extremely clean, comfortable and all of the accessories we needed. Very close to so many activities, stores, restaurants and venues. We couldn’t have chosen better accommodations

Family get away

Very convenient location but not the best section of town. The house was clean with the exception of rugs/carpeting and dining chairs needing cleaning and/or replacing. It was great having a paved and fenced area to park.

Very communicative to your needs if you need anything. Recommending to have extra garbage bags, toilet paper and paper towels. Also, if part of the closing procedures is to sweep, you should have a broom that’s not broken. These are basic needs, can’t be cheap. Otherwise great stay, location, and clean. Owners took care of our needs right away. Thank you. Had a great stay!

Nice place

Weekend visit to the queen city with our 5 kids. Nicely decorated, good beds, and a fenced and gated back yard, and smart tvs in the living room and bedroom. 2 things that would improve it are more eating and cooking utensils, and a little more seating in the living room. All in all it was a good stay, and only 10 minutes from panther stadium (if you don't count concert-day traffic).

Awesome stay

Property was exactly as shown on the website. Owners were very prompt answering emails or addressing any concerns. Had plenty of space for 6 adults without feeling cramped. Would suggest that the owners get fans for each bedroom upstairs, especially when it's hot.

Very nice house

The house is practically new. We enjoyed everything about it, very clean and comfortable for our family and pups. Our dogs enjoyed the fenced in yard, and we enjoyed having a garage for a few days, it helped us on rainy days. Our host was very nice and attentive. The neighborhood was ok.

I cook on vacation, so more items in the kitchen would have been helpful. Thats why i rent an air b & b. But otherwise everything was great.

Easy access to Convention Center

We had yo work at the Charlotte Convention Center for 2 weeks. We booked this place. This property was good for the time we needed it. You must have a car because it’s a bit of a walk to the public transportation. The owners communicated well with all the questions or concerns that we had during our stay.

Beautiful home!

The check-in process was easy. The home is beautiful and like new. The home is located in an urban neighborhood and it’s pretty quiet and the neighbors seem cool. Communication with the owners was always a breeze. I really have no complaints but with the weather this Summer being extreme, I would recommend owners put a seperate AC system in for upstairs. Upstairs felt warm no matter what the temp was downstairs. We purchased fans and were fine. There aren’t restaurants close by but we managed. I would stay again if I needed to.

Nice place

The house was nice and somewhat clean. We found dirty dishes in the cabinets and someone had also left a shot glass that must have fallen down into the garbage disposal that we were unaware of. The house over all was clean but the baseboards were very dirty and we found hair and other liquids on the back of the bathroom door. The vent for the air filter was filthy. The house had a weird humming sound when you used the hot water. We assumed it was the hot water heater. It vibrated the floors. It was nice for our dogs to have a decent backyard for our stay. The beds were very comfortable and all bedding was clean and nice. The neighborhood was questionable as there were many homeless people a mile or so at the closest stop light. But it was nice to have our vehicles gated while we were there. Overall, nice stay but some cleanliness issues.

Thank you Brittany for your constructive feedback. We have notified our cleaners regarding your feedback. We do request guests to report any damages or any issues with cleaning within first 24hrs, so our cleaners can come out and resolve it for the guests. We send msgs checking the comfort of the guest with in 12 hour of checking in. But unfortunately you didn’t report anything to us during your stay. Yes, our spacious backyard with privacy fencing is most guests favorite, especially for the fury babies! We are pet lovers so we accommodated your two dogs even after the pet policy violation of not informing the hosts about the presence of dogs. The property is closer to uptown and we sometimes come across less-fortunates/homeless in some traffic signals. We have owned this property close to 2 yrs now and the the neighborhood has been very friendly and haven’t faced any safety issues. We are friends with people around our property and they are all nice people. We enjoyed hosting you and hope to host you again in the future!

Unfortunately, this was a very disappointing experience from the moment we arrived. We were unable to check in at the scheduled check-in time because the home was still being cleaned. We were told it would only be another 30 minutes, but when we arrived, the beds were unmade, trash had not been removed, and much of the home was still not ready. Our group was on a strict itinerary and needed to get ready for planned activities, so we ended up having to get dressed in the master bedroom while the cleaners were still working.Even after the cleaning was completed, there were still several issues. The comforters had visible stains that appeared very inappropriate, there was dirt on the bathroom walls, and one of the beds was missing its boards support, causing the mattress to sink and making it uncomfortable and essentially unusable for sleeping. We specifically booked this property so everyone in our group would have their own bedroom and bed, but that wasn’t possible because one of the beds could not reasonably be used.We contacted the host regarding these concerns. While the host did eventually offer to refund one night’s stay, I am still waiting for that credit. Communication was also slower than expected throughout the process, which added to the frustration.This was not the experience we expected, especially since we were celebrating my birthday. I hope these issues are addressed so future guests receive the clean, fully functional accommodations they paid for.

Cleaning was delayed by an hour, which happened due to bad weather and delays in getting cleaned due to heavy demand. I would say that, from 4:05, when we got the first call, we connected with cleaning crew and agreed to get one room freed for group to get ready, after consultation. In next 10 mins, another member of the group called about same issue and asked that she is not comfortable using that one room temp for changing. In both calls, from call 1, I started hearing that guest would like reimbursement of charges or financial compensation. Same was repeated in second call. I negotiated with the group and asked them to wait before we discuss how we handle this and get cleaning completed. In the meanwhile guest took pics of work in progress cleaning and sent me. Seeing this cleaning crew called me and asked guest to be out till cleaning is completed as it was further making matters worse. In a nutshell, issue happened, and we resolved it, but only comms I got from first min of first call is about compensation. I hope other hosts don't have to have this. I have reimbursed 1 days stay price, and I agreed on this during the stay itself. @VRBO, can you help us understand how to keep the reviews congineal and well reviewed before published?

Host was non-responsive to us and to VRBO representatives when we tried to notify him of the situation in the house. Air ducts covered in dust. We left after 5 minutes in the house and only received a partial refund. Very disappointed
