Beautiful riverside home! The house met our needs and more. We loved the firepit area! We set up our TV on the porch after tailgating at CMU to watch more games around the fire. I highly recommend this house!

We really enjoyed our recent stay at this Canadian Lakes home! We were in town for our son’s wedding, and it was a wonderful place to gather our family. The home was clean, comfortable, and spacious, and we especially loved the peaceful river setting—it created such a calming and beautiful backdrop during a very busy weekend. The kitchen had the basic essentials, although a few additional cooking items would have been helpful for a family planning to prepare meals at the house. We did enjoy the pools, although finding the clubhouse location was a little frustrating, and there was an additional fee to use the pool facilities. Once we found it, though, we had a great time!We also weren’t expecting the additional 1.50-per-bag fee to dispose of the garbage, which was a little inconvenient.Overall, despite those few things, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and were very happy to have such a comfortable and relaxing home for our family during such a special weekend. The river setting and spacious home really made it a memorable stay!

Our group stayed for a mid-winter getaway. The house was spacious and clean. The loft/sleeping area in the upstairs was a small downside for our group with small children. There could be more seating in the basement, as well. Otherwise, the property was great for our large group. The host was responsive. One thing to note, the pool/hot tub are off site. It was a quick drive 2-3 minute drive. There is a 5 per person fee with a guest pass for use of the pool facilities. The association pool rules are STRICTLY enforced. It felt much more restrictive than a typical hotel pool.

Thank you so much for your review, our very first and hopefully only ever 3 star review. I am very proud of the Canadian Lakes association and the fact they strictly enforce the rules because it means that amenities are not public - they are strictly there for residents and their guest's use. The entrance fee was something we discussed before you booked as well. All in all, based on the comments about the house, I am still pretty shocked at 3 star rating but hey, hopefully future guests will improve that average for us. Best of luck and hopefully you leave the houses of future hosts in better shape than ours.

I had some questions prior to arrival and the host was quick to respond. Upon arrival the home was clean. The space was PERFECTLY layed out for our family. It had a large main level living area. Our daughter had the loft area with bed/bath to herself. My husband and I had the main level bed and bath to ourselves. Our son, daughter and 2 kids had the downstairs two bedrooms and bath to themselves. The kitchen has most things a family would need for their stay, but for us it was missing items like measuring cups and a colander. We eat all our meals in and recognize most probably eat out while on vacation so that isn’t a big deal at all.*There is a pool table and wine fridge downstairs. There also is a patio area with chairs and firepit and a deck with an outdoor sofa on the main level.**It should be noted that this house is part of Canadian Lakes Community. There are 2 pubic pools. One is heated. The other is outside. They are located in different areas. The cost is 5.00 per person per day. If you want to switch pools during the day there is only 1 fee if you let the staff know. Each pool has a fun slide. The pools were a huge hit with our 2 grandchildren. We do a family trip each year. We all agreed we would be open to staying here again, but we like to switch it up.
