Access was problematic from the start. Guests are instructed not to speak with the building concierge, and the key fob must be retrieved from a lockbox attached to a chain-link fence outside the building. In winter conditions, this required squatting outside late at night to operate the lockbox.The apartment itself appears presentable at first glance, but furnishings are basic and not consistent with a âluxuryâ listing. Both showers had low water pressure, the guest shower made a whistle sound, and overall maintenance was below expectations. Most concerning, the front door could not be locked when leaving the unit.Communication with the host was inconsistent, and critical information was not provided until after check-in. During our stay, someone associated with the host entered the apartment without notice or consent, which raised serious safety and privacy concerns.Parking information was not clearly disclosed. While parking exists nearby, it is paid, and four nights totaled 245.At checkout, guests are required to return the key fob to the same exterior lockbox.The view is excellent. However, access logistics, parking costs, and safety issues significantly detract from the experience.
