I am a passionate traveler with a keen interest in all that is new and creative. I have traveled to quite a few countries and this has made me appreciate Romania even more. However, I have learnt from all the people I have met of various cultures how to become more hospitable and make my home, their home. Casa Bughea has an amazing life story. It was built by a young couple - he was one of the most dedicated architects I have met, she was a teacher. Their house was centered around the idea of family, which makes it so cosy and warm. Spacious enough to provide accomodation to 1 up to 8 people, the group can easily get together around the fireplace in wintertime and spend a relaxing evening on the porch during the summer evenings.

The house is situated in a rural area, right where the forest begins, in the hilly surroundings of Valenii de Munte, Prahova. It is really well connected to a couple of important entertainment areas in Romania: Slanic Prahova (salt mine) is a 10 minute drive away, Valea Prahovei (Sinaia, Predeal, Braov) is within an hour's drive. But you don't even have to travel that far to have fun. In the backyeard there is a little river that provides good fun and a relaxing place during summer, spring and autumn are great for admiring the ever changing colors of nature from the porch of the house, Winter is perfect for a snow fight in the courtyard. I can say this is the perfect holiday destination for families that want to disconect from the bustling city life or for international traveler that would like to connect to a very real part of Romania.
