Welcome to our spacious Loft Studio at Little Colmar — a beautifully designed retreat ideal for small families, couples, or friends exploring Ha Long. Built right next to our family home, this studio offers comfort, character, and a peaceful atmosphere in one of the most charming boutique properties in the area.

This airy, loft-style room comfortably fits up to 3 guests, featuring two large mattresses on the loft level. The high wooden ceiling, arched entrances, feature stone wall, and warm lighting create a cozy and inviting space that feels both modern and traditionally Vietnamese.

On the main level, you’ll find a comfortable sofa, a dedicated work desk, and a private kitchen with everything you need for simple meals. The studio includes 2-way air conditioning, strong Wi-Fi, and a backup generator, ensuring a smooth and comfortable stay in all seasons.

Step outside and enjoy the colorful and unique architecture of Little Colmar. Our property includes a lovely garden courtyard, complete with flowers, greenery, and a relaxing swing by the fountain. It’s a peaceful spot to enjoy morning coffee or unwind after a day out.

A minimart is just a 5-minute walk away, and several local eateries make it easy to enjoy authentic Vietnamese dishes nearby. Guests can also access the community-guarded swimming pool, only 100 meters from our property (open April to September).

As part of your stay, you’re welcome to visit The Studio, our family-run pottery workshop located right on the property. You can join a hands-on pottery class, make your own keepsake, or simply enjoy watching the creative process.

We’re happy to help with airport transfers, Ha Long Bay cruise recommendations, and local tips to make your visit effortless and memorable.

Hi, I’m Hoa — a wife, mom of two, and a passionate host who loves traveling, nature, and connecting with people from around the world. I was born in the ’80s, speak English, and have been a dedicated host for 6+ years with over 200 happy guest reviews and a 4.94 rating.

My husband and I created Little Colmar in Ha Long Bay as a place where travelers can slow down, feel at home, and experience something meaningful. In early 2020, we opened our boutique homestay, and soon after we added The Studio, our on-site pottery studio where guests can try Vietnamese pottery in a hands-on and memorable way.

As a host, I’m warm, responsive, detail-oriented, and committed to making every guest feel cared for — whether it’s helping plan activities, offering local tips, or creating thoughtful spaces for families to relax.

My goal is simple: to make your stay comfortable, smooth, and full of special moments.

We chose this neighborhood because it’s part of our family story. This is where I grew up — my mom still lives nearby — and we wanted to build something meaningful right next to her home. The area has always been peaceful, safe, and full of the warm community feeling that makes Ha Long special. When we decided to create Little Colmar, it felt natural to build it here, on our own family land, surrounded by quiet streets, friendly neighbors, and the calming atmosphere we love.

The location is ideal for travelers who want to enjoy Ha Long Bay without the noise of busy tourist areas. Everything you need is close by: a minimart within 5 minutes, charming local eateries, and the community’s guarded swimming pool just 100 meters away during the warmer months. It’s a wonderful balance of comfort, convenience, and tranquility.

We love this neighborhood because it feels like home — and we wanted our guests to feel the same way.

Our property is unique because it is truly family-built and family-run. We designed and built Little Colmar right next to our family home, creating a place where guests can experience both comfort and genuine Vietnamese hospitality. My sister manages the guesthouse and also works in The Studio, our on-site pottery studio, so guests always have someone caring, friendly, and knowledgeable to help throughout their stay.

Each studio was thoughtfully designed with travelers in mind: private kitchens, strong air conditioning, a backup generator, and cozy touches that make the space feel like home. Guests can cook, relax, or simply enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

One of the highlights is The Studio — our pottery workshop right on the property. Guests can join hands-on pottery classes, create unique souvenirs, or simply enjoy watching local artists at work. It’s an experience you won’t find in most guesthouses.

We also help arrange airport transfers, Ha Long Bay tours, and delicious family-style meals prepared by us. Little Colmar stands out not only because of the facilities, but because of the heart and care our family puts into every stay.
